Heres an interesting partnership to keep an eye on guys. Teuton Resources, American Creek and Tudor Gold are working on the Treaty Creek Project. Tudor's guys just found a major new ore structure at the "Perfectstorm" prospect recently exposed by receding glaciation. https://www.juniorminingnetwork.com/junior-miner-news/press-releases/1960-tsx-venture/tud/83713-tudor-gold-discovers-a-significant-new-gold-silver-copper-mineralized-system-at-the-perfectstorm-psz-at-treaty-creek-as-well-as-expands-the-goldstorm-mineralization-along-the-northeast-axis-to-1100-meters.html

This isnt a small scale high grade underground project, Treaty Creek has potential to be one of the largest open pit copper gold silver lead zinc projects in BC history, rivaling the KSM (Kerr Sulphurets Michell) deposit explored by Seabridge Gold the next mountain valley over.

That bat is so adorable I loved the quarter even before the coof and it was being blamed on them.

I'd known about silver previously, and when the helicopter currency came in, I had to go hard on bullion, as I only had a little of that compared to Constitutional, so I struck when I could. You all knew a batboi had to be in it and make it into pic related.

I'd known about silver from way before, but just couldn't get much besides Constitutional, but when the helicopter currency came in thanks to the coof, that was my signal to go hard on bullion, so I struck when I could. Had to add a batboi as part of it, though, and now it's part of my stack. I won't show it all, but pic related should give a decent representation.

Check here if you're interested in more details, but around a denarius a day (3.8-4.0g of 95+% silver during the time of Caesar)

https://www.forumancientcoins.com/numiswiki/view.asp?key=Ancient%20Wages%20and%20Prices

Basically the same for trained Greek Hoplite soldiers several centuries earlier, a functionally pure silver Drachm coin of around 4.0-4.3 grams per day of work, maybe half that (a hemidrachm or 3 little silver obols) for unskilled labor.

Damn, almost a "how long is a piece of string" question. It's basically an experience-based skill, where you come to know what brands of weighted are best and worst (La Pierre weighted is good heavy gauge, Duchin Creations is aluminum foil tier shit for example) and record or remember the yields of similar or identical pieces (the weighted reinforced Empire model 232 salt and pepper shakers yield ~14g sterling per shaker for example).

You learn that weighted sugar/creamer sets should yield ~90g and up, weighted compotes (stemmed candy dishes) and the like are good, all sorts of stuff that I can't really convey adequately, ya just have to go get your hands dirty!

Another trick if you have a good eye, in person or just looking at pictures, is studying the weighted filled portion for wrinkling, denting, and other damage on stuff like big weighted candlestick holders. Thick silver sheet obviously gets less wrinkled and deformed than foil-tier silver under the same stress and abuse, so you can have 2 candle holders same size/footprint yield 30g for one and 112g for another, with the shit yielding ones often also looking the worst because of the weak foil.

>I struck out at yesterday's estate sale so I'll be stacking via ebay for now, aiming to keep it under $20/ozt

Glad to help, good luck man! I bought a grand of eBay scrap on Saturday so didn't even look yesterday, there is plenty to go around, just be sure to refresh the newly listed Buy it Now sterling items. Plenty of the time it's completely unambiguous and straightforward solid sterling with the weight stated in title, description or in a pic of silver on a scale so it's merely a matter of making sure you scan for a pic of the stamps/hallmarks and then buy within moments, as people like me can often just see the title and gallery pic, know precisely what it is and will yield instantly (lots of experience) and have it paid for within 3 seconds no joke, I try to be decisive and very fast because the best most obvious deals have lots of quick-witted competition and can disappear literally in the 10 seconds you may waste 2nd guessing things or working out the math/buy price per gram (including shipping and tax) which you should basically have memorized and clearly set ahead of time.

Not trying to scare ya, there are awesome deals that you'll find the first day probably, but you need to learn and "get good" at lightning decision making to enjoy the most consistent success.

Can you clarify what total grams of sterling? 2.5ozt sterling for 56 isn't a steal but you could get returned refined bullion even after fees cheaper than any retail bullion at that buy price. Cheaper is always better but it's up to you what you want to spend, though as long as it's appreciably below spot+premium it's smart in my book.

One could be a scrooge and only buy sleeper cheapo $0.25 silver spoons when they occasionally show up which would net an amazingly low cost per ounce for the few you find, but for me for now the ~$20/Ozt final refined cost is a sweet spot I've been busily stacking at, though bumping up to ~22 will be more competitive soon judging from how the scrap market looks right now.

We're certainly overdue for serious inflation.

Then again, it can also happen with metal coinage (see 16th - 17th century Spain).

And the opposite is not too attractive either if economic growth outpaces coinage supply, i.e. deflation. I believe pre-revolutionary France had this problem, leading to monetary shenanigans and ultimately Law's Bankruptcy just before the revolution.

Don't get me wrong, I think printing fiat to oblivion is a recipe for disaster, but I have yet to hear of a perfect system.

Yep using fine silver is patrician AF, I'll need to post a table spread sometime.

A potentially worthy consideration, along the lines of goldbugs who only stack pre-33 coins because of gold confiscation fears, is that antique collector sterling pieces may be safe if raw silver bullion were ever to be threatened. Not really a motivator personally I just love old stuff so have been having a blast stacking it all this year, but the schizos among us may weight that aspect more heavily.

>secret religious practice
No, lol
It's a feature of many ancient languages that there was originally no separate numeral system and thus a phoneme-number equivalence which was part of everyday language for all speakers. The Egyptian mystery cults decided to go autism mode and designated certain numbers to be used repeatedly in order to establish thematic resonance in their scriptures with some consideration given to obvious conceptual links (one = wholeness, two = duality) and significant numbers from the sciences such as the basics in sacred geometry or astronomical figures such as the number of days in a year or the number of years in a precessional cycle. This practice was obscured more by the need to learn about it rather than true occultism, because it is a practice that the Greeks and Hebrews adopted for use with their own languages and their versions of mystery cults.
The reason this stuff seems like a secret is because numerals came along and drove the phoneme-number equivalence out of everyday use. However, it's basic bitch stuff for any occult system in any language. The problem is schizos plugging buzzwords into calculators that let them see the thousands of other words with an equivalent value, thus letting them search for meaning in the vast sea of results. It's a literary Rorschach test for wannabe anti-cultists.

And rare!

Many of us here are just trying to be responsible and trade some devaluing fiat shiat for real money. We're not trying to get rich like the plebbitors chasing Hertz or going all-in on $497 Tesla, just preserving the fruit of our years of honest hard work in a solid form that won't likely betray us during these unprecedented unpredictable times.

It's a tortoise vs hare mentality now, in a dangerous time like this
at least a good brace of the greedy overextended rabbits are going to get completely stewed, us plodding stacking turtles with honest goals and reasonable hopes will wind up much more squarely positioned and armored when the crazy train really gets going.

There is no such thing. Any occultist worth his salt knows that Satan is just as fictional as Yeshua, that the entire Abrahamic tradition is nonsense cobbled together from other sources for the purposes of population control rather than as an expression of truth.
The only "Satanists" out there are LARPers like Lavey who pick Satan as a mascot precisely because it triggers Christcucks enslaved to the system of control and gets them the attention necessary to profit from their antics.

It's a lot trickier and riskier in the current environment to time physical bullion purchases, as LOTS of cash is waiting in the wings for the same dip/crash everyone else is crossing their fingers for. If you're first in line and get deals on stuff still in inventory great, but many won't be quick enough before it's all bought up.

For snagging potentially good ETF and stock deals it's a bit different, but you really can't count on already undervalued physical silver being available if the price takes a temporary hit and the world rushes to buy.

Savvy traders are better at reading technicals and perhaps can time things well but I have no such confidence, stacking physical daily while keeping a chunk of powder dry to hopefully get more awesome deals like in March is the simple plan.
