The IRS has a scheme where if you dob in someone who is evading taxes you are rewarded with a percentage of the taxes/wealth that this person owed. The whistleblower is kept completely anonymous by the IRS.

If you knew of a multi-billionaire who had been evading taxes for the past decade at least and was probably owing hundreds of millions of dollars in tax would you 'whistleblow' on that person? Provided that this multi-billionaire was a complete waste of air that contributed nothing to society and didn't work for any of their wealth.

What if the person hypothetically had many people around them who were aware of the tax evasion so the likelihood of them finding out it was you was very low.

Also you have dual citizenship so you can just move to a different country once you have claimed your hundreds of millions of dollars and disappear.
