I am thinking about dropping $3,000 into this kone. I want to hear your thoughts about it. Shitcoin, or huge potential?

I already hold ETH, ADA, ATOM, and XRP. All long terms hold. I don't flip shitcoins.

What is your 'folio, and are you (will you be) holding ALGO?

>> No.22466900

probably will be holding at some point
scared of devs dumping
waiting for it to crater to .25
hoping soon

Isnt there an enormous supply and lots of sell pressure?

I am poor and I hold only 22€ in ALGO. And that is only because in my language "ALGO" means actually "Something"

Yeah, the supply distribution is concerning. I am yet to look into the team. If they seem legit, and not just a bunch of anonymous devs, then my mind will be more at peace. I actually don't even mind the idea of using the team supply to grow the network. You have to do it somehow.

>>22466925
Well, it is down a LOT since it first got listed. I am guessing this is when the biggest selloffs happened. It seems to be pretty stable now, though: .20 to .40 range.

I hold some and just forget about it. Last time I chcked it said 100 algos since last transaction. even if it goes back up to 77 cents, that's like $77 for not doing shit. in fact, that can pay for my AWS servers for the month. this is seriously the NEET lifestyle coin.

good tech but will never moon because of the massive supply dilution. if you’re thinking about buying just wait for the next token sale and scoop some for under $.25. ATOM offers nearly double the staking returns and only 7% yearly inflation versus ALGO it’s like nearly 100% yearly inflation.

Holding 30k algo currently (in at 25 cents). I won't sell it. I'm not buying more until price hits around 10 cents. It's a long-term hold (2-3 years). Once the total supply is in circulation, the price is gonna skyrocket. It could do so even still before that time period. I do expect the price to drop though by about 60% from where it is currently. When that happens, I'll get my stack to 100k and just forget about it for a few years. Great project overall.

im thinking it might get noticed and priced in. usually things are priced in way before as people try to one-up each other in trades. it does seem like a good project and i might acoomoolate more while its low

Algo can't go over $10, so what's the point?

Let's say somehow it can and will go over $10? What's the lowest buy in point possible with peak volatility from here to the end if the year? $.25 $.20?

>CBDCs will be minted on Algorand

It looks like it is going that way given the team, the intentionally constrained smart contracts, public-private networks interacting through co-chains.
However, I don't see how it could scale to meet demand as an actual central bank currency.

Ethereum operates around 15 TPS max and it has struggled to handle the interactions of about 10000 simultaneous users. Algorands 1000 TPS could handle about 670,000 simultaneous users.

If you expect to process interactions, even basic ones, between 100s of millions of users then Algorand won't be fast enough. True even if it operates at 10000 TPS.
