Posting again since no one seemed to notice:

Given that first majestic just brokered a 70+ million deal with sprott, why has this not impacted their share price?

Do you think it was "baked in" or is it just not enough to affect the price? Or is this something that will have an effect soon in your opinion?

Would love to hear some opinions

Can't just expect news to move share price all the time, especially with one of the larger caps. What's going to drive the prices higher are new investors coming into the space as silver and gold prices go higher. Chances are a lot of people investing in silver miners already have shares of First Majestic anyway. It's great news in the long run so I don't care that share price hasn't moved. The day to day share price is all noise.

>> No.22448168

So you are saying that since they BRRRR'd the extra shares the price wont go up, and we are basically lucky it remained flat on the news?

How do you tell when new shares were issued? The news for FM just says sprott bought 78 million of the company

RE bayhorse:
No hard evidence, but we have had a few tweets from people supposedly in the know saying it is good news. Maybe you are better at DD on financials then I am, but I dont see a reason why they would be announcing anything bad.

Making week or month plays on juniors isn't the best idea with the extreme volatility in the sector. If you want to trade consider waiting for the breakouts to start then just start trading all the flags one by one, which have worked for me since about May. However charts do suggest that the best time for a long entry is right now if you missed the lows.

About Bayhorse: Pmg's obsession with the stock is unhealthy as it's still a speculative play on an indebted company who will dilute. Not saying don't buy the stock, I own shares, but the constant discussion feels like some lemmings shit. These are the same guys who shilled MUX without knowing who Rob Mcewen was, what the properties were, what the financials were, months after a 50% pump; they're all in the red. I really have not seen shilling of bayhorse to levels I would call obsession. If it was "bad news" like a dilution to raise money, wouldnt it be best to release that late friday to minimize damage?

but then again I also like MUX long term, last I saw from them is that they are finally getting a mine back open in sept, having all their stuff closed due to covid explains why they have not been able to capitalize on higher PM prices. They are not even back to pre covid levels for share price.

Good luck on the homesteading journey fren, that is my ultimate goal aswell, although as a law student it looks like I may not have the 10-15 years I need to save up to start it. For preparation with that I would tell you to do as much as you can now- get a community garden plot, learn to build things, hunt/fish, canning and food preservation. luckily it's pretty hard to lose money on metals. You certainly can't lose a lot at the rate most here stack. Miners and options are different stories, but with any luck anons will win on those too. If they do it will probably be luck and not smarts though.

I don't think you could be any more wrong. We are seeing an exponential loss in trust of central power. The future is distributed, and simple wherever possible. That means PMs for trading. Not fiat, not crypto. As things become increasingly chaotic, people are going to lose faith in anything they can't hold. Debt will no longer be regarded as valuable.

juniors are risky in bearish or neutral market conditions of their primary mined substance. precious metals are now in a bull market which means the considerable leverage the junior miners have are now geared positively and so long as the company has some capacity for productions or atleast the very likely possibility of future production, large returns are very likely.

It's tiresome to see all the complaining in these threads about debt. Yes, silver miners generally have debt. Great Panther, MUX, Aurcana, Bayhorse. Won't be an issue if we get a silver bull market, and that's what you're betting on when you purchase these companies. That's the whole point of buying them, as an ultra-leveraged way of investing in silver. If silver soars, they soar 50x higher, because other people didn't have enough confidence in silver to buy them at this early point; that's why their market caps are so ridiculously low right now, because so many other people have this pedestrian mindset about debt and risk, and don't have the vision to see the future early. Even First Majestic is going to crash if silver crashes; unless you buy the real large-caps like Wheaton or Newmont there are no safe silver stocks, simply very dangerous and very very dangerous ones. No danger to me of course, because I believe 100% in silver. If you don't also, then you should be sticking to bullion anyway. Point is, it's not a grand revelation when you point out that a silver stock has debt, simply one point among many to take into consideration.

This is probably a brainlet question, and its not b8. I was thinking of buying gold, and I was going to buy 1gram bars and building up my stockpile slowly that way. >and im not convinced the economy is done getting wrecked, it's only beginning

you're correct. but its exactly because of this that money will flee into gold/silver the quickest way it can. we already know that there isn't enough physical liquidity. this international, hyperbolic demand will send the price of physical through the roof. when you cant get physical, the only alternative is to buy equity in companies that mine gold or silver, and therefore you will then be entitled to your share of the profits of the company(which is directly correlated to the quantity and quality of the precious metals that they produce)

The premiums you will pay on the 1 gram bars bars will make it really not worth it - think about it sorta like a drug dealer, where if you were buying an ounce you'd pay less per gram; I think you're better off saving the fiat & then buying an oz

Especially if you're buying online, you're gonna get hit by shipping costs each time too

If you are looking to invest in PM slowly I think you would be better off buying silver (but even then, if you're ordering online you're gonna get hit by shipping & premiums hard)

It's also speculated that in the short-term this market crash & presidential elections will drive people to the dollar (driving the dollar up) which will push gold & silver down; in other words, you might actually end up paying less if you waited (or, we might see total system failure within the next several months, and you will have zero PM only fiat..)

However, this is ~3608lv (~1844€) for 1oz when converted into ounces. The best price per ounce I saw on the website is 1oz 2020 Australian Kangaroo coin (https://tavex.bg/zlato/1-uncia-moneta-avstraliisko-kenguru/)), which is 3408lv per 1oz (~1742€).

So what's this about Australia being cucked and sacking Rio Tinto management? They mine iron ore but it's relevant to the mining sector there.

Evidently a bunch of bleached 1/16 abbos or whatever claim that this rock shelter was sacred for 46,000 years and also that it was destroyed, even though it obviously only had a little overburden fall into the gorge when the mine pushed up and built that presumably protective embankment along the ridge.

Sure, truckloads of crap fell down but the way I read it before seeing this article and picture was that the mine completely leveled and annihilated the place like the Taliban blasting the giant Buddhas. I love history and shed some tears reading about what the Taliban was doing in the 90s and watching ISIS' antics more recently, but this is absolutely ridiculous, nothing was harmed (all natural anyway this ain't the Parthenon), some spots just got buried a bit deeper.

What a joke, that loose overburden could be dug and ported out of there no problem, seems like just a thin excuse to try to disrupt the mine, and what I'm wondering here is if there is some powerful greenie environmentalist faction in Australia that may soon go after gold producers too? Any Aussies have insights about this development?

From what other anons have said, it's a better idea to purchase Brittania's from other countries that are part of the European trading block where they don't have VAT on silver and Silver bullion. Belgium is one of these countries.

I haven't personally tried it though, but you want to do a little bit of research because you're paying VAT on the transaction for each Brittania where you'd save more by buying a Kilo bar for example. It's a tough call.

Although I don't live in Bulgaria, the premiums are about the same here anyways. Nice 100€ premiums. Ordering from the cheapest bullion dealer wouldn't even save me much money because of shipping costs, unless I bought in bulk (but gold is so expensive for a wagecuck like me that I just stick to buying silver, maybe I'll get 1oz of gold despite the salty premium tho)

Hey, Pan-chad. I'm the new guy who's been lurking, asking questions and trying to get into investing and pm's these past few threads. I happen to be Finnish so if you need me to translate anything or to look for stuff from Finnish websites, I'd be happy to do so.

On the topic of Finnish mining, there is Sotkamo Silver (SOSI1) that has already started production and that has some promising estimates (I think? Pic related, correct me if I'm wrong) and exploration potential of 20-40Mt's (Ag 40-80 g/t, Au 0,1-0,3 g/t, Pb 0,15-0,3% and Zn 0,3-0,7%). Mining is done in the underground mine predominantly but a small open pit is planned too.The mineral deposit was found in 1980 and Kajaani Oy + Outokumpu Oy invested 60 million SEK into researching the deposit but the project was put down due to low metal prices in 1991. 2007 Sotkamo's claim for previously presented claims over the silver mine deposit were issued. So it took 40 years until actual production started in 2019, meaning the mineral deposit hasn't been mined much at all yet.

There's also the Norwegian market listed Nordic Mining ASA (NOM) which holds 16,3% of private Finnish company Keliber Oy's stock (Keliber has lithium deposits in Kaustinen an Kokkola municipalities, they are able to produce high-purity lithium that has increased industrial demand in the form of the increasing need for rechargeable batteries). They also have a definite feasibility study ongoing in their Engebø project which would produce high-grade Rutile & Garnet. They estimate that mining could go on for about 40 years and promises stable cash flow and favorable conditions. They're also planning to pioneer in the subsea minerals industry. They made the global first qualitative resource assessment of seabed minerals in a joint research cooperation project in 2012, so that's an entirely new industrial field to look forward to in the long term I guess.

Russian explorers were interesting as well but there is unconfirmed rumors they are far less trust worthy with their results due to poor assay quality control.

Sprott has 62 million dollars in DSV. It's purported to have 1 billion ounces of silver. Don't think it will run as far as Impact or Bayhorse, as the market cap is now relatively high, but, for me, it's essential. Perhaps some plan involving a First Majestic buyout.

>>22460377

I'm 100% in these stocks and others like them. I have been promoting these four here for many weeks, but only to people who understand that they will go to zero if silver collapses. Otherwise I say to buy bullion and GDXJ/SILJ. For me, it's entirely about how strongly you believe in silver. Somebody with feeble convictions might panic out of them, making them potentially dangerous, but I will never sell.

not him but I do the same, I already have like 500 oz silver and 20ish Gold, I need a big return on miners. Physical are my defensive foundation, Miner are for the offense. I'm putting 1k each month into it, hopefully I can turn this into something big that will be invested into Uranium stocks. Double bull marker incoming

Hope this does not seem too repetitive, because I've given the figures before: 160x was the average gain for junior silver penny stocks in the 60s, when silver doubled. To return to the inflation-adjusted ATH you would need to see 600 dollar silver, so 500-1000x gains are not outside the realm of possibility.

Expectations for market open?

Bitcoin held 10,000 all weekend, so seems unlikely for a dump
Market anticipates possible stimulus this week + Fed meeting and enacting average inflation targeting

However.. whole market is currently selling off, driving up demand for the dollar (plus margin calls) and might cause silver / gold to sell off too..

Bayhorse is a rare exception to the rule where you can bet on an almost sure thing despite its having such an absurdly low market cap. Other stocks with similarly low market caps tend to involve speculation about drilling or permits. But other excellent silver small-caps with higher market caps are:

Dolly Varden
Callinex
Tinka Resources
Aurcana
Silver One
CCW

These all have many proven ounces in the ground.

It's likely to be good news, because insiders are making promising although cryptic statements; but until the next week comes, nobody knows for certain. If the price collapses for some black-swan reason, like the Oregon wildfires, I will double my position.

Any example/sources of these cryptic statements? Curious as I have a couple of shares of bhs. I feel like if it was only new mining results or bankruptcy due to their big debt we would know already.. so Im guessing the project might've been bought out by a bigger company and they are finalizing the details over the week end. I have no idea though Im just speculating.

>> No.22461707

Pretty much exactly the same position and plans. Got the stack, piling into a mix of miners, plan to move gains gradually out silver -> gold -> uranium, obv trying to hit the top of each as well as possible.

Re: uranium, I was initially skeptical nuclear was going to get its renaissance because western elites seem to hate it. After all nuclear could basically solve climate change, and that's no good, since climate change is useful to them right where it is.

However I am increasingly convinced that with the 2nd and 3rd world countries will see the largest growth as the current order stumbles, and they'll be needing both electricity and less pollution. Not having the luxury of fucking around with intermittent power boondoggles, they will start to turn to nuclear in larger numbers. I think China and Russia will make good business on selling prefab small and modular reactors to emerging markets.

I just hope the boom comes fully after gold's bull market so I can ride both waves.

Honkeytonkgirl on ceo.ca, and Mineguy on Twitter.

It's not necessarily the kind of news which would lock out new investors forever. The last halt was to announce development at their Brandywine project. Share-price jumped to 0.25 CAD, and only fell down because of the 11 August 29 to 23 dollar silver collapse. It may be news like that, promising but not excessively so.

Sprott owns it. A lot of complaints on ceo.ca about management. It's getting pumped on all the silver Youtube channels, so I consider it to be a poor stock for me to chase by now. I prefer to get into things before everyone is talking about them.
