is coinbase a good place fee-wise?

>> No.22432721

>>22432602
Nope, high fee's to buy and sell. Generally it forces you to 1.5x to make any gains.

this, after my crypto pause I came back trying to make a coinbase account
after making the account I browsed biz and heard there is a better exchange fee wise, it's called coinmetro
at first I just wanted to buy some eth but I instead bought prq and now I'm rich :D

Coinbase Pro is better.

Coinbase Pro is great

>> No.22432835

>>22432602
Use Coinbase Pro. Fees are still high, but significantly lower. You automatically have the same account there when you have a Coinbase account.

>> No.22432837

>>22432602
No for a $25k purchase it's like $500 fee. Use coinbase pro instead.

coinmetro won't let me sign up cuz I live in wa

so I just go to pro.coinbase.com and just magically get better rates?

>> No.22432918

>>22432884
Basically yes. Coinbase is the retard boomer version. Coinbase pro is where you can get halfway decent trading, also get much better charts etc.

Use coinbase pro to avoid high fees

>> No.22433124

Also any non-burgers (or VPN users): FTX has low ass fees. Sometimes at the expense of liquidity. But other times it is great.

Binance is really good. anytime I buy from my bank account the fees have literally been pennies

Correct but if you transfer from USD to USDC there is no fee. Transfer out your USDC to KuCoin and then play there. But $1 transfer out fee; I recommend testing and then send a bulk transfer. So if you send $1000 it would cost about $2 to send to KuCoin (test + bulk transfer). Also, KuCoin has the lowest fees of all the exchanges and you can buy all the Chad coins (monero, dot, nim, etc)

bitpanda is better, there is also bitpanda pro with even less fees.
you could also try binance

I should also add OP That the reason Coinbase is more expensive than CB pro is because of the easy interface. They’re charging you at a premium for that. People get scared when they see market pairs.

Absolutely DONT use coinbase. They will hold your funds hostage for 6 days. When you give them too much money they will freeze your account, when you give them too little money they will freeze your account. Their customer service is awful, and they will make your life hell. Use any other exchange.

I tried to execute a trade of 9k on cb pro and they were only gonna give me 8500 back. Cb is just an on/off ramp at this point.

I like Kraken best. 0.26% taker fee and 0.16% maker fee at up to 50k monthly volume and it goes lower from there. Only down side is you can only find your account via wire so that adds about $30 or whatever your bank charges but once the account is funded you can trade back and forth on 1-2% moved and still make a profit. If anybody has lower fees than kraken, works with ACH, and operates in the USA please let me know about it
