Xsnbros, what benefits is there to owning a masternode versus just leaving it all on their cloud for staking? Other than security purposes that is.

half of staking rewards go to nodes, half to coin staking, if either one becomes inflated its more profitable to mine block rewards in the other one

so theres no difference in return?

Is xsn actually viable or not I saw it rocket in the charts in the traditional p&d fashion

You can only stake a max of 10k in the cloud.

compare them with calculators. At the moment masternodes earn a little bit more, but it might be offset by hosting costs. I'd say they're roughly equal right now

Is cold staking a thing yet?

glad to see we can discuss XSN again without a pajeet army invading. It was awful for a while.

I think it is. it was trading at $0.10 for a long time and has seemingly found some support around $0.20. we'll see how long it last cuz its inflation is a bitch and it's still going to take the team at least another year to have a fully formed product. maybe 6 months to have a complete dex

appreciate it that clears it up for me regarding reward differences

yep - via TPoS

ledger staking is not live yet though

viable in what sense

check their medium. I know for a fact it's a thing. anything you have in there over 10k isn't earning rewards

One of the few crypto projects I trust to be legit. They're trying to do some really tough things but have been making consistent progress. Doesn't seem like a pump and dump, it pumped higher than it is right now multiple times before they released anything so wouldn't make sense for them to hold on still when they could have cashed out higher with less work put in

this is true, I didn't notice you mentioned cloud staking. What I said applies to regular staking, but cloud staking is indeed capped at 10k. It's to discouraged using a centralized method

any idea how that's changed since the update?
