RARI right now is in a similar stage that Amazon was when it was just an online bookstore, IMO. Looking forward to watching the platform grow as more digital asset classes find their way to the Rarible NFT marketplace.

This, Remeber in 2017 when everyone was going mad over "tokenized this, Tokenized that, Tokenized tranies" Well Rarible lets you create buy, sell anything you can apply an NFT to. Then you have the future layers, as devs continue to innovate we are seeing crazy integrations where you can incorporate insurance and DeFI and anything else that gets created. You then have the normie angle for EG if 50 Cent decides his new album will be released on Rarible etc, for every artist that comes over, they bring all their fans at once, Rarable yesterday introduced Likes and following ability also for creators to use

>> No.22356605

Remember when Taylor Swift had a big fight with Spotify, not getting paid enough for her music, and most artists not having control over their IP? Any normie TED talk all they talk about is how Blockchain will solve all this, well that is RARI. Maybe a far reach but NFTs can also relate to film ownership for EG if Netflix want to buy season 4 of modern family, they can buy the NFT that already has all of the rights and proof of ownership contained in it, as a lot of companies such as Netflix hold a lot of 'Digital Assets' like this

It's washtrading you brainlets.

Just look up Rarible washtrading on google. The way it is distributed is that every week, top buyers and sellers get a percentage of 75k RARI, depending on how much they spent.

So people are buying this pointless art from themselves. 20 ETH worth washtraded gives you easily 5% of the total weekly distribution, that's 3750 RARI weekly or about 10k USD every week, which you get to dumb for simply trading 20 ETH to yourself.

These are the people making RARI thread and hyping it up, just because Andre Cronje got excited about an NFT marketplace. Those insurances that are being sold there are pretty nifty but currently pointless. You save very little selling them over just canceling them, since no one is interested in buying one on RARI over making their own. That may change but that's what it is now.

I would have exploited this thing myself but don't want to get in trouble 2 years down the line over some washtrading (which is illegal). So I'm warning you fucking retards
