I'm reasonably sure the idea of RSR is to provide financial backing for RSV, which is a stablecoin that isn't supposed to fluctuate. The RSR token will provide the real value to keep RSV in place, once it goes live in like 3 years. Ultimately I don't see how Thiel would meaningfully profit if he pumped and dumped, besides the fact he'd piss off the other investors he'd also be giving up leverage over an idea which is supposed to "go to the moon" over 10 years by becoming an unironic reserve currency for third world shitholes.
