What the fuck is an epoch and should i unfarm before the next one? Also can i use bpt across pools or do i have to use the pool that i provided liquidity to?

>> No.22305954

epoch is a period with prearranged mining reward
you don't need to unstake when you pass into the new epoch, rewards will pass over
not sure about the pools

You guys really need to figure out how these work before putting money in, epochs are just a time period (1 week) in which a certain amount of YFV is distributed to liquidity providers, they rollover seamlessly. The BPT token you have is for a specific balancer pool, it wont work in a different because they use different contracts

if i have $1500 to spend on this project, what would be the best thing to do? should i buy one of the tokens like Balancer or LINK, and then stake that and just farm YFV, or should i just go all in on YFV itself and then stake that in the YFV pool? Why aren't there any basic guides for noobs?

>> No.22306453

Is YFV heavily undervalued or YFI just overvalued?

>> No.22306473

>>22306453

you literally have medium posts that walk you through it. You don't need to understand how credit cards process your payment in the backend either, do you?

If you want to farm, buy a token you already have an interest or investment in and use that. If you have 10k pinkies why not use it to make extra money. Or just get yfv and stake it. idgaf

>> No.22307892

Farming with Link would be less risky and net you less YFV. Buying YFV directly would be more risky and give more rewards if the project survives and does reasonable well. The choice is yours.

What's the minimum yfv to farm and what's the difference between farming and staking? Please sirs spoonfeed me so I can do the needful

>> No.22308628

>>22308395
no minimum anymore. when you stake anything in the pool, its considered you are farming yfv or vUSD in another pool

How did it feel to pay 50% of your TVL in fees just to start farming?

>> No.22308807

Have farming rewards been reduced? Fucking link fags farming 100's of YFV a day and then dumping it on the market.

>> No.22308853

>>22308395
If you stake you buy 100% YFV and press the stake button to earn rewards. If you farm you buy 98% LINK, 2% YFV and add that to the balancer liquidity pool and press the farm button to earn rewards.

i just bought this crap where do i stake yfv
