I can't believe I lost 300 dollars from ETH dropping.
What should I do with my ETH right now? HODL? Swap it for something else? I just want to get back the money I lost buying ETH with fiat.

I might be a newbie but I have been browsing biz for 3-10 hours a day for the last 5 months. I am learning a lot.

Check out DeFi projects that actually have a long term plan (so stay away from the defi food tokens that pop everywhere with promises of huge APY). Check out for example SWAP, XIO, STA, LOCK, but do your own read about the projects and research as much as possible, don't take my word for granted.

Also diversify a little bit, never go all in on only one project. For example I have over 100k XIO, and when it pumps a lot I sell a little bit and I'm putting the profits in other coins that are down and I think they have good long term perspective.

bro, just buy and hold solid defi: blue chips defi are aave/snx/yfi and you should also be exposed to link.

This might not be the most optimal advice I can give you. However, do that and do yourself a favor, no offense: just hodl those and come back 1 year later.

300 is nothing. Eth in a year+ can be anywhere between 5k and 20k so if you are exposed to projects that can outperform eth you can multiply your eth by 3, 4 or even 5x+. But really, I cannot stress this enough don't sell now just to buy higher. If you have discord and want to shitpost and connect to like-minded people feel free to join my group.
