well it's that plus fed monetary policy. There is no where else to put your cash right now except for PMs, real estate, and stocks and I guess crypto.
I would say there is more collective wealth in stocks than any other asset though and it's probably the easiet to take advantage of. So, until bond yields are actually worth anything there is no stopping this golden elevator. Sure some stocks will get over bought, and be manipulated but the overall market trend is going to be up. Micro indicatros are different from macro indicators. There will be plenty of sell offs along the way and you can either try to time those if you wish or just hold for the ride. I stick to buy and hold because it's easy and in a market like this you can see retarded gains through just buying and holding leveraged ETFs so why make it any harder than it has to be when you are already going to be seeing triple digit returns.

>The results were astounding (and highly statistically significant). “Of 50 patients treated with calcifediol, one required admission to the ICU (2%), while of 26 untreated patients, 13 required admission (50%)”. Would you rather have a 50% risk of needing ICU care, or a 2% risk? Almost all hospitalized Covid-19 patients who die, die in the ICU. That is where the most severe cases are sent. So this study shows that vitamin D reduces the severity of Covid-19.
>In the statistically adjusted results, vitamin D reduced the odds of ICU admission by 97%. The RR (risk reduction) for ICU admission in hospitalized Covid-19 patients was 0.03 as compared to the control, which is given the value of 1.00. The odds of Covid-19 patients in general, as compared to hospitalized Covid-19 patients, needing ICU care would be even lower, as you would first need to be hospitalized to enter that risk ratio, and vitamin D has been shown by other studies to reduce risk of hospitalization. So taking a vitamin D supplement has tremendous benefits.
>For mortality, 2 patients in the control group died; no patients in the vitamin D group died. There were not enough deaths to make the results statistically significant. But hospitalized patients don’t usually die from Covid-19, unless they are in the ICU. We would expect the reduction in death to be of a similar order of magnitude to the reduction in need for ICU care. Also, if you need mechanical ventilation, that is ICU care. So the vitamin D would seem to reduce risk of ventilation as well.

Neat. now i wonder if when (i believe) i got it back in february, as did my family, if we all survived because we drink 1% milk (that has vitamin D added to it) every day forever? i guess sunlight helps in that department too of course.

for comparison, Bestbuy has a price to sales ratio of 0.6. In other sectors something like Tupperware brands is trading at 20.98, and Chewy is trading at 60. Obviously trading with p/s ratios makes you fall into the same mistake of value trading looking at PE ratios since it doesn't take into account speed of growth, but Gamestop's p/s ratio is so low that the only way for it to dip significantly lower is if they go bankrupt which is not happening soon.

no rush, it might not even happen with Q2 but I'll wait up to end of November.

Did you know a cotton t-shirt has an SPF of 7 which means 86% of the UV is delivered to the skin? Thats D-lightful

Did you know your cat is licking itself is getting its D because its skin is secreting it?

Did you realize your petting your cat is getting vitamin D all over your hands and inevitably you are eating potato chips and that D is getting in your mouth? Or that the D from the petting is getting in your own skin cells?

How about the fact there is D all over your body in many cells, in large quantity? Or the fact that eating large amounts of D has zero effect and you're shitting out D? Or that you are producing D and sweating it out and smearing it on your Cat, who is ingesting your D when its licking itself?

>t-shirt has an SPF of 7 which means 86% of the UV is delivered to the skin?
From this random site.,
https://www.rei.com/learn/expert-advice/sun-protection.html
>A typical white cotton T-shirt, for example, offers about a UPF 5 rating, which means that 20 percent (1/5) of available UV radiation passes through it.
>Did you realize your petting your cat is getting vitamin D all over your hands and inevitably you are eating potato chips and that D is getting in your mouth?
Anon, pls...
>Or that the D from the petting is getting in your own skin cells?
That's probably below 10%. Adding to that vitamin d is a per bodyweight thing. My cat has about (I don't know) 5 kilos? I'm getting ?5%? of what my cat produces?
>Or the fact that eating large amounts of D has zero effect and you're shitting out D?
That's not true. Intake has a direct correlation to plasma levels. If that were true I couldn't overdose either.
> Or that you are producing D and sweating it out and smearing it on your Cat, who is ingesting your D when its licking itself?
I don't think that that's true either. Also. what's the point?

eh REITs are better as long as they're not overleveraged and keeping up with high rent collection rates, but that's not saying much.
They're eternal crab too but yes at least they can actually maintain their value since their payout ratios are usually sustainable. Some are ok even with corona.

still wouldn't get back into REITs. They may eventually rebound back, but there's no point getting into them right now when it's clear they're just going to keep crabbing. If you want real estate, do individual picks on specific retail companies. They'll recover sooner before REITs who are only afloat because the zombie corps they are leasing to are getting government bux right now.

i'd prefer something that is predictable and consistent even if it doesn't move much so i can put all of my money into the trades, but i guess that's asking too much even if im fine with small gains as long as they're consistent and can be made up for with volume. also muh covid crash 2 electric boogaloo everyone is worried about. feels like it's hard to dip buy when the next dip might be a crash especially in tech.

I actually study electrical engineering and I actually have a clue what people researching batteries are working on. Tesla has not solved any of the important problems, they might have slightly better batteries than other companies but these batteries are built on metals that people are trying to get away from. Yeah, it's foolish to believe in just 10 years all cars will be electric. If we're actually taking that route to begin with (the ban all non-electric part), we might see first world countries go all-electric in 40-60 years. One way to jumpstart this plan is to allow young people (the new generation) to only buy electric cars.. but are there good enough, reliable and CHEAP electric cars that exists today that young people can actually afford? Hell no, so maybe by the time the next generation comes around
