22290600 No.22290600 [Reply] [Original]

Warning: This is why Chainlink (and Defi) is in a bubble and we are going to pop soon in a way that it will never recover

This 20-something guy has "all figured out". It's "free money", it's magic, he has outsmarted everybody. This is the biggest sell signal I have ever seen and this will not continue for long

God has punished people for hubris throughout history, the Chainlink twitter cancerous community is the most proud and filled with hubris "We are special. We have it all figured out"

God will punish for such pride, it is the worst sin

The problem with all this stuff is gas fees are so high it's not cost effective unless you're throwing at least $10k around, which for me is too much to risk on something like this. So fair play to those doing it but it's not for everyone.

In fairness it takes a good amount of research into the sphere and then risk, so i don't begrudge them. Barely anyone is actually yield farming.

However yeah unless you have 10k+ you don't mind putting in risky investments and at least $200 all in all for fees it's not going to be worth it.

Biggest risk imo, is managing your Health Factor on AAVE. With the yaLINK vault the pool automatically rebalances so I don't have to worry about it. If there was a flash crash though, you might end up personally having to spend 1000+ gwei on transactions to unwind your leverage.

whole crypto is a ponzi scheme so far, the onus is on ethereum to start generating real staking income on something else than ponzi schemes. Nothing else has a chance.
Visualize wealth flows and you will realize how obvious it all is. Miners waste energy and hardware, dump on buyers to get that back + profit. Early buyers dump on later buyers. Founders dump on everyone. Yield farmers dump on everyone.
There's no added value anywhere in the system so far.

This scares me and it absolutely is a bubble. The thing is this only involves LINK because it is used as collateral. If it wasnt it wouldnt cause a link bubble.
This could harm links potential as LINK is much more than a DeFi token. Its a tiny part of Link. If brainlets create a premature bubble thanks to this though it may peak much earlier than and lower than it should like say 100$ at most before huge bubble pop thanks to shitty yield farm bubble which is nothing to do with link

>> No.22293330

its a bubble with no solid foundations. Where is the money coming from? It has to be going from one person to another, they cany create money out of thin air like tether and the fed

Nobody cares but at the first sight of this type of transaction I've been ready to pull the plug even after making some serious YFI returns. I sold the YFI top. DeFi as a whole was made for this and lending in the crypto space to me can only be a scam as of now and the foreseeable future.
I sold everything last Monday.

For those who care:
Eth based tokens will be the slowest to recover from impending crash, and of those on Eth and L2 solutions will be back. Everything else is likely going under. Yield farming is over.
BTC (Tentatively BSV) and Privacy coins with their own blockchain I think will be next as crypto returns to it's "roots." Zcash just had a successful hardfork (extremely bullish) with private mining, XMR has just always been solid. Returns will be lower but will be a better return than most everything people are in right now.

Wait for a better L2 solution before you begin getting back into Eth blockchain and "DeFi" projects backed by Eth.

they want to have their share in the daos, it is a long term play but most tokens for curve will be distributed over the next year so...
I mean collecting fees is their business, no? some of those daos already do more volume than the smaller centralized exchanges. and no one wanzs to oay listing fees in 2020 anymore.
