How do you start a church? I find there are no churches I feel comfortable joining because they all have problems. So I want to start my own which reconciles multiple important aspects of the faith. I also want to have it be a church that congregates in hikes out in the mountains here, rather than a building. I have no idea how to start a business though.

This is exactly why we have so many types of doctrines and interpretations of the Bible. The Bible it self says in the New Testament.”when two or more congregate God is with you”. The relationship between yourself and god is NOT dependent on going to church. Especially in modern times where people use faith as a way to “one up” their neighbors. Most people who aren’t directly involved with the church haven’t even read the Bible in its entirety.

What you want to make isn’t a church, you want a community this isn’t exclusive to faith.

Firstly, are you sure there's no denomination that accepts your personal beliefs? Because there's a good chance there is one. If not I think you would be best advised to look into faith-based organizations (FBOs), tax exemption stuff and raise capital.

I just want to make a church that has the following tenets

>baptism of the professing believer
>repentance and church discipline
>no Ordo Salutis (You can lose your salvation if you are negligent in how you live your Christian life)
>continuation of miracles and gifts
>real responsibility as a result of the gift of free will (so that God has no hand in the realization of sins of any kind as opposed to the heresy of Calvinism)

I don't believe any of that is in contradiction with Scripture.
