There's a crucial difference. They have pumped the idea of "brrr" and "money printing/MMT" into everyone's heads on the nightly news to make them throw their money into whatever assets they can.

Now that the bubble has popped and everything is ATH again, they will dump on dumb money harder than 2008, buy those same assets back for pennies on the dollar, and *then* actually let inflation kick in. Even in an economic meltup, they'e not going to allow us peasants to make it.
