Cheer up, I don't think we're going any further. Here's my read:

I'm waiting for a divergence in RSI or MFI to indicate decisively we're at or near the bottom. But on the 1hr chart there have been a ton of candles in the past few days with huge downward wicks and high corresponding spikes in volume that get larger the lower the price has gone. To me this reads as lots of downward movements that were snapped up quickly and aggressively by buyers. The price action generally looks like there is a ton of buying action trying to scoop up cheap linkies. The largest spike in volume was on the very sharp bounce from 9, and given that 9 was a big previous resistance on the way up to 20 (and pretty much the only s/r level between 5 and 20) 9 was always my target for this dump and where most of my buys have been. 9 sounds like a huge retracement to expect, but by the time we hit the already outrageous height of 20, there was also public attention starting to come from normies and the level of euphoric delusion on this board was at 2017 levels (people were saying the next leg up to 35 was imminent). This was always going to be a vicious dump.

I'm betting on a retest of lower 9's, and with a double bottom there and/or a divergence, I'd be pretty confident saying we've hit the bottom.

Every dump in LINK's half dozen pumps at this magnitude has retraced 50-70%. not sure where you're getting 42% because in practice LINK has crashed this hard or harder, and rebounded every time. If that's an estimate derived from boomer stock movements, I wouldn't ever apply it to crypto which is way more volatile.

If anything Chainlink's marketing presence is actually very quiet and un-hyped by design. Sergey's been around since the beginning of Ethereum and seen enough projects come and go to understand the destructive potential of projects blowing up too fast with hype. Tron is a great cautionary tale of an overmarketed and self-hyped project. Rory has even said Sergey delayed some past large announcements originally intended for CL events because of confirmed leaks in order to avoid the appearance of impropriety.

People on this board are extremely impatient because crypto was always supposed to be fast gains and growth. What some people mistake for a suspicious lack of progress (scam!) is just Sergey's well-known aversion to hype and marketing, and Chainlink quietly taking the time that a properly serious company in any other market takes to develop a product carefully. They will have to test it properly and implement it incrementally to ensure all aspects work, and build a reliable base of nodes until they have a critical mass of data feeds. companies will only integrate a new tech like chainlink if it has a proven track record of working and not losing customers' money--- it can run perfectly a million times and if it fails once to run as intended, it may never get adopted. Point is that it's a slow process. People are mistaking Chainlink's focus on developing solid fundamentals while lacking the transparency of public engagement for bad intentions and trickery. This isnt even meant for the public; this is and always has been a back end product for large businesses. So why would they advertise anyway
