Old is a feature, like gold's 1000s of years record gives more trust. From a security perspective slow is also a feature, long conf times are more secure and less orphans. eventually. don't be a cunt. gas fees are not a big problem. layer 2 solutions are already working, they just need to be implemented and eth 2.0 will be released soon enough. in engineering, deadlines are broken constantly. it's just how things work. something like 2/3 of all engineering projects are delivered in 2x or 3x time frame that was initially projected. as long as good people are working on it and the problem is not physically unsolvable, i'm not worried
