If this is supposed to be an hedge against governments and central banks, why it dumps when stocks crash?

Makes sense. Thanks anon

>> No.22170825

Because it's incredibly volatile stocks have been around for over 200 years, gold for thousands. Bitcoin for 10

>> No.22170871

just wanted to remind newfags and maxitards that btc isn't a hedge against inflation, it's just a speculative asset

Because stocks are not "governments and central banks"?
How do you even think what you asked is a reasonable question?

That's just a maxi cope.
BTC failed as a currency and it could be 51% attacked tomorrow if Winnie the Pooh ordered it.

Correlation does not equal causation retard. If you compare Bitcoin vs the SP500/Dow over any time frame >1 year you see they are uncorrelated.

A couple of double spending while wasting electricity and money?
You know they cannot steal money in other ways, right?

Because it's being trading on exchanges by boomers
Most of them aren't holding actual bitcoin, and if they are, it's only on exchanges
They don't use it the way it's supposed to be used, they just look at it as a speculative asset

The good news is that even if the market dips briefly and bitcoin dips with it, that's just short term price movement

In any long-term inflationary situation (eg if the dollar goes to shit), bitcoin will act as a hedge

You just have to shake out all the weak-hand boomers first
