You can see txs and you can descramble them but if you use the api, it literally just has two numbers, a number for the person and a number of tokens and it's impossible to guess who that person is for that number. Literally impossible.

Tracing it is trivial (given a full node) as you have to look for direct state changes instead, which is more expensive and requires a tailored solution per token. Not surprisingly no explorer does that.
