Better to pay more to get a new one. Mattresses last years. Sleep is important. Don't get ripped off by Mattress firm. Try to find Furniture stores that sell mattresses and look for a good price.

I am gonna be real with you. If you live alone and plan on living alone, you might be fine, if not more comfortable sleeping on your couch or getting a couch if you don't have one.

Personally I never got into this, but both my dad and brother do it. My dad says the couch angle supports is back and belly (he is fairly overweight).

Don't listen to this chink lover. I used to work in a factory in Kentucky that made mattresses from scratch.

Idk where you live OP but find a factory in your area. NOT A FACTORY OUTLET store, they jack up their prices worse than you'd think. Worse case scenario go to a store like BigLots or what ever the equivalent would be for your local area. Get it on credit through them even if you can pay it off quickly and just need something nice to sleep on better than the floor. They even do delivery and install for a semi-reasonable price.

Best of luck to ya OP.

This. If you’re not super poor, pay for a decent mattress. You can get something good that will last if you go to the factory. There’s a giant difference between cheap mattresses and well-made ones. Sleep is important. It’s a solid investment in yourself to get a good quality mattress.

Free ones in alleyways or in front yards during collection day, make sure to ask the owner. If they mention "Bed bugs", it's probably just them being silly remembering the age old adage "sleep tight, don't let the bed bugs bite". Personally, I've went through 4 alley mattresses. I keep breaking out in hives, not sure why maybe it's the cleaning product I use(It's lysol).

I bought one of these cuz I was looking for something that wouldn't make me sweat my ass off. Comfiest mattress I've ever owned. Something I learned when getting my place for the first time was: Don't buy anything until you ask your friends and family if they have XYZ to give away.

Me and my gf told people that we were moving out and almost everyone we knew had spare furniture or stuff like kitchenware that was sitting around that they wanted to get rid of.

We ended up getting like 70% of the shit we needed for free from other people. Even a queen sized mattress that somebody didn't want in their guest bedroom anymore.

It was the Aurora medium firmness. I don't notice it so much. Like you won't sit on it and think, "wow this is a very cool mattress!". If its chilly you're definitely not going to feel cold because of the cooling tech. Its still a mattress. But I do notice that I don't wake up as sweaty as I did before.

tldr its mostly a gimmick but i think it helps. comfy af either way

Mine's from mattress firm. I cheaped out and got it for like $380. A twin. Kept getting back aches on it until it stopped idk if my body just wasnt accustomed to it. Only get it now if stay in bed for a long time and only sometimes.

It had a weird stain at the corner that was there since I bought it. The area of the mattress where my nocturnal emissions occur is now a yellowish color that matches the corner of the mattress. Somehow it seeped through to the mattress. Get the feeling someone coomed on my bed before wrapping the mattress up and shipping it to the facility from where I picked it up.

Also OP unironically sleeping on the floor with no mattress And only a blanket (if that) is the final redpill. Takes getting used to but this is how our ancestors did it and they hunted mammoths for a living. You just wave, you don’t deserve that mattress.
