its more then enough, If your financially literate you can earn $7000 per month from dividends (10% APY) without touching the principle. 400k is my "make it" goal and with this upcoming bull run many of us will make it.

You keep posting this same thread which makes me wonder if its a larp or something else. Anyway, no you haven't made it unless you have 1 million liquid and a paid off house. 780k Can get you a modest single family home in most areas of the country. So really you need to turn the 780k into 2 million.

Bonds are not performing as a counter weight to stocks anymore.

Infact nothing really is, Capital Gearing Trust (for UK) is about all that held counter, oh and TIPS.

But for USA bros, I have no idea what is a good thing.

Gold and Silver never strikes me as good investments. that shit tanks during a crash, no good to sell and pour into stocks if its fucking 10 percent down lol?

Wouldn't recommend dividends in this environment. Honestly, I don't see its value in any, a boomer thing.
Take money from the company you are invested in, instead of that company using it to grow market share and your share value???

Really never understood the boomer need for them. Why not just invest in strong growth funds in blue chips. Then sell the profits? In both downturns 08 and 20, dividend based shares get slashed, investors flee and share value plummets.

It just never makes sense to me. Let alone the shooting up of solid stocks that we seen in both recoveries. But fair enough, each to their own.

He is absolutely fine if he is living alone, he can pay a house and throw the rest into dividend stocks and get a fair yearly salary, would consider moving to some country like portugal where life is extremely cheap and you won't find shit you find in the third world.
It also depends what is your definition of making it, which given the shit that i see posted here on the "houses threads" it would mean literally living like a famous football player
