Alright algochads I bought into this shit after researching. I just tested a transaction between a couple of wallets I made. One on exodus. One on the algo main wallet. The transfer went so fast I didn't even have time to open my other wallet up... This is unironically the future.

reviewed the fees... 0.001 ALGO per transaction... Would take $10/algo to make the transaction fee hit a single penny.

shame its been dumping

Eh. Ripple is about the same. I have XLM as well. I use them to shift money around. If it moons it moons.

Entire market is dumping... Had my eye on this one for awhile, just never felt comfortable buying over 50 cents. Glad it dumped a bit so I wanted to test it out for myself finally. If it drops a bit more, I'm gonna grab a large bag.

When I tried ripple, it forced me to have a certain amount in my wallet....thought that was weird.

Honestly anon, it's another one of your "ETH killers", but the ecosystem on algorand seems to be growing at a phenomenally fast rate. It's already being put to the test and scaling with ease from what I can see. Lots of top tier developers behind it... Literally one of the best in the world in Silvio. Seems to have some insane connections too which is how it got listed on exchanges so quickly after going live. I've been researching it a bit lately.

thanks, normally i want to stay far away from eth killers, and looking at the team of this project makes me worry a bit

I was looking at algo for awhile but I'm still not sold. I'm worried it will either be like XRP and never breach the resistance, or it will grow so incredibly slowly I'll be dead by the time I make 2x my investment.

All predictions point to algo growing VERY slowly but I might buy a few K, set an alert to tell me if the price reaches $1 or something to know it's mooning and forget about it.

not true in the least. Vitalik just got lucky with the timing. and ethereum is falling on its face right now.

XRP has a $12 billion market cap you just showed up too late. it mooned furiously in 2017 and then all the smart people sold. ALGO still has 10x in it easily.

>> No.22142981

>>22142836
it’s going to be several years before ETH 2.0 is fully rolled out and even then it won’t be as fast and scalable. this is coming from someone who bought ETH for $20 in 2017 and still has over 200 of them in my wallet.

algo is Rank 48 though, when the supply is calculated down to btc, price would be $20
id say new investors would be too late, better just put more money into my own small cap picks and do a 500x that way

>> No.22143314

Plus you can stake ALGO already with their app

I mean it's kinda how I feel. Algo looks promising but it can also be the giant is dead and not actually sleeping lol.

I might stake some algo because I don't think I'll really lose money on it, I just don't know if it'll ever go anywhere.

It will definitely go up to a new ATH if theres a golden bullrun bc its on normiebase but we can only hope that maybe it gets some mainstream appeal and gets a pump like LINK or OMG did
