I'm going to put my savings into crypto.

Mainly ETH/BTC

I have about 1800 CAD saved up from wageslaving.

So far I have this written out to understand the charts
Moving average
Blue - Weekly
Orange - 30 days

If blue above orange then better short term invesment

Lines from candlesticks - High/low trading price for given period.

Candlesticks - Opening/Closing price for given period
(GREEN: TOP=OPENING & BOTTOM=CLOSING)
(GREEN: TOP=CLOSING & BOTTOM=OPENING)

What else do I need to know?

You don't know what will happen with the money you throw in, all you know is that it might give you back more or that it might not return anything at all.
