I dunno. If Arbitrum ever happens I'm sure it will be superior in some aspects, but this is just the Chainlink team latching on to more problems and proposing their own Chainlink-bound solutions.

And the image is not wrong. xDai already has VRF (more Chainlink vaporware).
xDai is also scalable, from their docs comparing to OMG:
