It just keeps dumping 10% every day while every shitcoin is mooning.

I don't hold swipe because all I see it do is dump. But it really seems like a good idea on the surface. Crypto-cards are absolutely necessary for mainstream adoption. The fact that they come with normie-friendly perks is even better.

Swipe even has partnerships and everything. What's wrong? Can you tell me why it's not working out?

its dropping because people are jumping on the yielding bubble. Once that bubble pops, this will for sure go back up. Not gonna start accumulating yet cause who knows how much longer and bigger the yielding bubbles gonna get. It literally is like half the reason why etherium is pumping like fucking crazy right now

this, whatever the stupid 90%APY those things are paying out *can not* last. It's not possible. The way these things are making money is just the amount of people flooding into them. Pop! That's why these cards can only afford to pay out 2, 3%. Anything else is unheard of. It's silly to think it'll last.

There's 32M tokens locked for in-chain staking. Coincidentally, 16M tokens were moved from the "Ecosystem Reserves" to Binance 2 weeks ago (after 45M tokens followed the same pattern a month prior):
https://etherscan.io/token/0x8ce9137d39326ad0cd6491fb5cc0cba0e089b6a9?a=0x471d4079f23e7e5409418c3150dd5fa92d6890ec

aren't those meant to be distributed as PoS coins to stakers? I don't think devs are dumping, that'd be suicide, plus CEO said he holds tokens for the long term and is going to stake them, so aren't those meant to be staked? I think till this product actually gets used in the US and defi stealing the limelight, this will be a sleeping giant, only after a few months we can evaluate the true state of things regarding this project.

>> No.22104793

All SXP investors should ask the CEO what is going on with all of the team tokens! There is a lot of confusion. On CMC it says there are only 65 million coins in circulation, but if you add up the coins staked and those sent to Binance you are way past 65 million, so how much is in circulation? is SXP team selling tokens right now that we thought were going to be locked up? all SXP investors deserve transparancy regarding this issue!

>> No.22104953

>>22104580
All that sounds great in principle, but you're forgetting something: You can do all that and try to get the project forward... or you can cash in and get some coke and whores right now.
>CEO said he holds tokens for the long term and is going to stake them
He owns 10M out of the 32M currently staked, so there goes 1/3 of the daily rewards. And there's still 50M in the Founders' Treasury: https://etherscan.io/token/0x8ce9137d39326ad0cd6491fb5cc0cba0e089b6a9?a=0xaf04c95b6a5efa851136049203093468c197517c

>> No.22104988

>>22104793
I believe CMC is wrong, recently more tokens were released and then staked on chain. It doesn't really matter actually. There are very few projects where the founders don't retain the overwhelming majority of control. Just go through different white papers, they're mostly bad. People don't care.

>> No.22105043

>>22103775
"team/devs" dumping is just one particular flavor of fud that gets used a lot. Some anon pointed out this has to do with moving around from binance, no extra coins dumped

dude this is top 20 material that's literally unqestionable. owned by binance. aims to cover everything a crypto bank does. is currently the best option on the market for a significant % of users gloablly.
price has little to nothing to do with usage. this is very clear manipulation. it's been literally dumping since they introduced competent cards, became available in US, implemented mainnet and all

>> No.22105231

thanks for the feedback you all, however if I were the CEO I'd make sure there would be no misunderstandings regarding the token distribution as to not undermine trust from investors. So I think the CEO should give us an update regarding why team tokens are moving the way they do exactly and regarding inflation and such. Otherwise investors are scared that everytime there is a price rise it will get dumped by the team and inflation.

binance is handling all the finances. whenever you deposit or withdraw any currency from the swipe wallet, on the blockchain it always looks like you deposited / withdrew them from binance.

What. But look at other cryptocurrencies that have higher market caps? There are so many that are not only much less interesting, but don't even do anything.

I think it's cool to use crypto to pay for shit (even if it's in a roundabout way, but hey you're actually doing something with crypto, what a concept). And the rewards are simply not comparable to traditional credit cards, nothing else pays out 3% ffs. 2% is amazing.

>> No.22106373

>>22106097
yes and Swipe is also DEFI and an exchange and much more, also you get high staking rewards, if you put money in the bank sometimes you ve got to pay the bank now! Plus if the bank goes bankrupt you lose your money. There will only be 100 million tokens in circulation, so if 1 million people use Swipe and they spend 10k on average that's 10 billion market cap, but highly likely it will inflate the value so it's 10 billion market cap at a minimum, tha'ts 50x from here.
