The flag pattern that we are certainly finishing today is on the 30min chart. the price rose by roughly $2 before entering the flag (declining for the last three days, I should've bought the weekly puts) and then breaking out and rising by almost $2. I told a bunch of rabid normies elsewhere to set their target for 18.50 but it was actually $19. And I didn't tell them about the triangle.

Economy works in waves. You lay off 30m people and their high velocity cash dissolves and their expenditure on goods and services drops alongside it naturally. This leads to a cascading wave of diminished returns and layoffs. Not to mention defaults which have barely started to swing into motion.

So that 30m low end earnings wave turns into a 40m mixed income wave, short term, but enough to cause serious restructuring in numerous departments, shit like advertising, meaning GOOG/FB get their shit kicked. Shit like AMZN sees decreases YoY. Between reallocation and stimulus, AMZN is going to be looking pretty shabby YoY when people start back into brick and mortar and the huge sums of free money at the bottom end dry up. Same with AAPL, poors love AAPL because it's a universal status symbol to the unenlightened. Plus hardware seems to me to be plateauing since gains have become increasingly marginal, smartphone sales are stagnating, desktop/laptop sales are down YoY since like '08. There'll be a market shakeup with ARM entrants, too.
