The simple as trick they don't tell you is that not only paying taxes is voluntary, so is filing. If you don't file at all, you don't pay. If you stop paying for 3 years, you become inactive in their system and unless you're caught up in a financial crime or personal bankruptcy, they simple don't know you exist and its as though they think you are dead.
Problem is, as banks go digital over the next decade they are going to require tax returns to maintain/open accounts and you'll have pretty much no way to trade and cash out and still avoid taxes in any meaningful way.
Bottom line: Seek a successful trader in your area and ask them what they do. Talk to a local tax attorney to point you in their direction and ask...you'd be surprised how many will reach out and help, even if its anonymously.
