I am unironically holding 50 million HOT right now and buying more at every major dip. Long-term holder as well. Not gonna lie, I'm salty I missed LINK in 2018 (fell for the FUD) but I have made a lot more money recently getting in on YFI and Polkadot scams at the ground floor, so life is fine i guess.

Now to Holochain. The project was very hyped in the beginning and rightly so, the tech is absolutely revolutionary to the point of making everything else in the blockchain space obsolete. There was a rumor about a partnership with Mozilla (hint: Mozilla created the Rust coding language) so Holochain decided to refactor/rebuild the entire code base in Rust for security/performance/compatibility reasons. This took over 2 years, but now they are finally making huge progress. The code is working and they are in closed beta testing the network.

The relentless FUD you read here may be funny sometimes, but remember people FUD to buy cheaper, you would never FUD a project that you don't care about. Time is money after all.

So my advice would be: DYOR. Check the Medium website, check Twitter, check the forums, check Github, etc. This is a potential 100-300x.

You have a lot of ETH whales and old crypto money invested in HOT (2 ETH genesis wallets invested in the ICO). Just look at all those faggots who don't have a day job and just go to the hackathons/conferences or hang out in the Holo Telegram for years now. They tend to look a bit weir or extravagant because the don't care about normies anymore, they made it already. The way the AliianceBlock guys describe it, they have built ‘on top’ of Overledger with ID/user functions handled by Holo. Seems like a natural fit.

I expect the combo of Holo + Overledger will be standrd once it’s seen to work well for AllianceBlock.
