Still a bit perplex at how it's possible that some anons still not get it. How can you believe they'll be stuck at 50 txs per day if they already said that they're well on their way to reaching 220k households at Lition energie and that these households will at the very least make 1 txs per day but possibly a lot more.

This might sound a bit weird but it is actually true. I went to highschool with Richard, the CEO, and he always used to tell me stories about his grandpa. What he told me is that his grandpa was a waffen SS officer, can't remember which rank exactly, but he was pretty high up there. He always talked about it like he was really proud of it. He once told this story about him going into his grandpa's basement and finding some old uniforms, he asked his grandpa if he could have one of them, his grandpa said it was a bit big for him but that he could take it home. Then the day after he got it he wore it to school.

Do with this info what you want, but I would be cautious. I'm posting this anonymously because I know what Richard is capable of.

The FUD is surprisingly weak.
A week ago it was still pretty strong and convincing. Fudders are getting BTFO'd.
To be clear. We caused the price to dump, so we could accumulate a bit longer.
The generals were hitting the bump limit almost every time, when we decided to not make a general, 6-7 threads bumped up all over the board. So we made a containement general, starved the other threads and then stopped hyping it for now 3 days or something.
This gave ample time for some normies to transfer lit to IDEX so we can fill our bags again around these cheap ass levels of 0.00037 ETH.
So much LIT is going to get accumulated in IRON /biz/ hands who'll hardly sell before $100 because $90 is FUD.

Valuation post:

In my opinion a crypto can be valued viewed from three different angles:
Profit valuation (e.g. IDEX profit distribution token)
Payment system valuation (e.g. bitcoin, the US dollar)
Dependency valuation (e.g. Ethereum and it's ecosystem)

To make a valuation it is important that you insert probability in your valuation, i.e. not:
The price of X will go to price A.
But rather:
There's a probability W that X will go to price A and
There's a probability V that X will go to price B and
There's a probability U that X will go to price C.
To have a view on the risk reward profile.

Lition is in the peculiar situation that it can derive value from all three angles profit, payment and dependency.
The profit stems from up to 0.01 USD/tx going to the stakers
The payment stems from actual value being transacted on the network (for the energy usecase approx 1000 euro per household.
The dependency of the company Lition Energie AG (which is a different entity than the company that makes the blockchain) is dependent on that blockchain and has an interest that there are not enough tokens to be bought at low prices so that a 51% attack could take place.

Now I'm going to adress them each individually and assume that the other two dont provide value or that it providing value has some 2nd order effect on the metric that I'm assessing.

Let's start with the profit valuation.
For the Lition energy usecase, the profit calculation goes as follows:
Profit = households X transactions per household X fees per transaction
Lition energy currently has around 20k households (estimate) and is on track to reach 250k households in 2 years.
Let's make our valuation for 2 years into the future and say that there's 20% chance of 100k households or lower, 50% chance of 250k households and 30% of 500k households.

In the worst case scenario, one household only makes 1 tx per day, in the best case scenario one household makes 96 txs per day. With possibilities of clustering most likely
Let's say the probabilities here are 20% 1 tx/day, 70% 4 txs/day and 10% 96 txs/day

The transaction costs will be limited to 0.01 usd/tx. It is for me unclear what the mechanism will be to have these transaction costs this high. It is my fear that they may wind up being as low as litecoin, bitcoin cash, bitcoin SV or dogecoin transaction costs where the median currently is 0.001, 0.001, 0.0001 and 0.003 USD respectively.
I dont think this is very likely and expect fees to be close to 0.01 USD, let's say 0.009 (90%) but am willing to account for a low probability scenario of 0.001 USD (10%)

22019962

>>22019899
>>22019933
So what do we get then?
Well the lowest valuation would be 100k households, 1 txs per household at 0.001 usd/txs which gives us a profit of 100 USD/day and a likelyhood of this occuring of 0.2*0.2*0.1 = 0.4%
The highest valuation would be 500k households, 96 txs per household at 0.009 usd/txs which gives us a profit of 432000 USD/day and a likelyhood of 0.3*0.1*0.9 or 2.7%
The likeliest valuation would be 250k households 4 txs/day and 0.009 usd/txs which gives a profit of 9000 USD/day and a likelyhood of 0.5*0.7*0.9 or 31.5%
We can do this with all cases (there are 18 of them) and get a weighted average of 30479 USD/day in profit.

We can also add some expectations as to what will the valuation be based on a Price-to-Earnings ratio and the amount of tokens that will be staked.
The price to Earnings for the IDEX token is currently around 60 on a yearly basis. So I'm going with maybe a P/E of 20 (30%), P/E of 60 (30%) and a P/E of 200 (40%) (latter crypto mania, it think it will happen).
The tokens staked could be a lot less if new usecases pop up or more due to token supply increasing. So I'm going with 15 million (30%), 30 million (40%) and 50 million (30%).

From this we have a total of 162 cases and we see that from the profit angle alone, the chance to be valued at 20 cents or higher is 98.5%, 1 usd or higher, 88%, 10 usd or higher 46% and 100 usd or higher 7% and that the probability weighted average comes in at 45 USD.

Now from the payment system valuation I am inclined to compare it with either bitcoin as a payment system or the USD as a payment system. The USD is the basis of the US economy where you have transactions per year that total about 20.5 trilion USD, meanwhile the M2 money stock stands at 18.4 trillion USD. Almost a 1-to-1 ratio. On the bitcoin network however the total amount of transactions made per day average 11.5 Billion dollar. On a yearly basis that is 4.2 trillion dollars in transactions, almost 20 times the market cap of Bitcoin. This metric is thus called the velocity of money. 1.1 for the M2 stock of the US (historical average 1.6) (see: https://fred.stlouisfed.org/series/M2V#)) and 19.5 for Bitcoin (historical average about 40) (see: https://charts.bitcoin.com/btc/chart/velocity#5ma4).). Now because most of bitcoin transactions is just sending it to and from exchanges etc without really transacting it for a service or product it is my conviction that the payments made on the lition network which will be on a yearly basis about 1000 euro per household is more akin to the pattern of the US dollar than that of bitcoin when it comes to a relationship between valuations and transactions. Thus if they get to 100k customers, they'll have 100 million being transacted for energie in a given year and that should thus roughly be the mcap valuation given to lition as a payment system. So $1 per 100k customers. Perhaps a little bit less, but I'd be surprised if these transactions were deemed as valueable as ordinary bitcoin transactions where people just shuffle coins between their wallets. At 500k customers you could see a valuation of $5 only from the payment system angle.

From the dependency angle we are a bit in uncharted territory. Looking to European utilities they are usually priced in between 0.4-2 times the revenue. I would expect a high growth young company to be valued at least at the upper range of the spectrum and probably quite a bit higher. So Lition Energie could have a revenue between 100 and 500 million and thus be valued around 1 billion euros in 2 years from now. What should a blockchain be worth if the existence of a 1 billion euro company relies on it? It's a difficult question but the answer will probably be somewhere north of 100 million adding another couple dollars to our valuation.
Even in the worst case with just 100k customers and just a 100 million dollar valuation of the company, The blockchain should still derive a value from it in the tens of milions. Making it impossible for the tokens to have a lower value than today.

Adding everything together I estimate the probability of this becoming a 10 bagger in the next 2 years to be as high as 95% and for it to become a 100 bagger to be over 50%. Beyond 15$ the valuation becomes mostly dependent on the profit angle since the payment angle and dependency angle pretty much max out at $5 and 10$ respectively in the best case scenarios. I would pretty much aim for about $25 in 2 years and that doesnt have to be the end of it at all. Such a valuation also falls perfectly in line with the trend that we're in since the beginning of the year.
