Let's run an experiment. Make all people in the world to use BTC, and ETH for one day. BTC alone can do only 345k transactions in one day, If each person would do merely 1 transaction in that day, only around 0.005% of world could use BTC.
It's the same for jumping if people would all leave google for duckduckgo. They don't have infrastructure to run as much queries, as google does.
