Learn French wardrobe and basic styling.

Buy Good clothes that last a long time. Brand does not matter, quality does.

H&M no.
Uniqlo yes.
Patagonia, yes.

Mic and match. Take for example Zuckerberg a one shirt and jeans idea.

>How do you make money reselling clothes?
I don’t really deal with reselling any clothing unless it’s hypebeast or designer clothing I can get on release or a good deal to instaflip. Highly sought after designer or hypebeast clothing like Supreme, Off-White and etc the supply is so limited and the demand immense. Easy fucking money if you can get your hands on releases.

But if you wanted to know about sneaker reselling I could answer pretty much any questions you have.
>>21976209
Most people hate sneaker resellers. I admit, we fucked the sneaker market but the manufacturers are even more to blame. Don’t hate me for flipping a $100 pair of dunks for $600 an hour later because people are paying for it without hesitation.

greetings from /cgl/
i buy clothes. mostly second hand.
every 3-5 months I'll splurge for a nice piece of clothing that will be around $300-500 for the main piece of fancy attire. $30-80 blouses. I really don't like to buy them higher than that.
i spend about $40-80 for most shoes i buy, not often. fancy or not. also about every 3-5 months. I don't buy these clothes nearly as much as I'd like to... So I'm here in /biz/ trying to make some extra money.
I don't spend a lot money on normie clothes. I'll buy a new piece every couple of months from ross/amazon/walmart/mall stores but they always fall apart fast and I don't really like them, but they are more socially acceptable. I always feel regretful after buying. I'll spend about $25-100 a month or every 2 months.
Anyway, I'm still building my wardrobe.

I was putting 2% of every paycheck towards future clothing purchases but I haven't bought clothes in months. i just don't need to. Happy to buy something nice every now and then like a nice pair of shoes or a good jacket that I know will last. Sometimes though, I spend $200 on a pair of sneakers and the sole comes off in like a month... Then I buy a $15 pair that lasts for over a year.
I try to buy my basics from second hand stores if I can. There is already too much clothing in the world cause nobody wears their stuff out.
Also, the more time I get out of clothes, the more shares and memecoins I can buy.
Pic is a pair of underwear that I've almost used up. I reckon there's less than five wears in this pair before the waistband fully comes off.

I recommend doing A LOT of homework before you decide to start botting. I also recommend starting off with a decent starter bot that's not super expensive. Nike SNKRS exclusive bots aren't that great honestly.
A couple that's not as expensive that are decent. I've used these:
>The KickStation
>Phantom/Ghost AIO (pretty great)
>The Shit Bot (best Nike bot in this tier)
You're going to need proxies too. I use 2 bots, one $3k the other $4k not including proxies and servers, but I'm a pretty big botter and reseller so its worth the investment. I can list those if you want.

Well I have a couple pairs of boots I use for heavy winter (salt stains) few pairs I use for regular winter at work, just two pairs of chukkas (paid fuck all for one of them), some mocs, few pairs of dress shoes, then a handful of sneakers. Really rounds me off pretty well. I could use a pair of black boots I think, but I'm pretty content with this. I keep all my leather shoes well conditioned so hopefully I don't really have a need to replace them for the next ~10-15 years. Just taking them all to a cobbler and getting a new sole on it.

I really don't put much thought into what I grab. I dress like ass in the summer though but colder seasons are fine. Don't buy shitty things you'll need to replace.

Appreciate that, Anon. Cheapest way for you to get started is to try your luck on release days for a drop.

Easiest shoes for you to start out with for the biggest returns are
>Nike SB Dunks
Retail $100
>Jordan 1
Retail $170-$200
Guess you can add Yeezy slides which retail around $50 as well.

If you have $170, the Jordan 1 BioHack/Baroque Brown releases Friday 4 Sept on 10AM EST via the SNKRS app.

I can walk you through how to use the app, but theres a lot of vids out there that explains it visually and in much better detail.

Theres also some yeezy slides releasing next week. They're pretty cheap and can be flipped for easy 3-4x returns
>https://www.yeezysupply.com/
Sit there at release time and try to get into the queue lounge to checkout. TYPE YOUR SHIT IN FAST AS FUCKING POSSIBLE so you dont lose your spot if you get in.

$350-$500 depending on the size. My sources tell me there’s only 15k pairs so I’d hodl them if you don’t need the quick flip return right away because these will appreciate 9 months to a year for sure.

Check out the Yeezy Azareth dropping on Tuesday. Another good $150 return easy for the quick flip, and about a $600 shoe within a year. This is the most hyped Yeezy release of the year and only 10k pairs worldwide. Good luck if you go for them.

Do you actually make good money doing this? Seems way too competitive and supply limited. I'm a reseller, but I do vintage electronics, jewelry, and trading cards/bugman collectibles. Surprisingly few hustlers in my area and almost unlimited supply.

Used to be into hypebeast shit like 5-10 years ago. Now I'm a 30 year old boomer and could actually afford good bots, but I don't really give a shit anymore. I do like money though.

It is. That's putting it lightly. I've been doing this for a long time and I'm the same age as you are. I'm high 5 figures for this year. If I can get several pairs of each of the other big releases this year, I'll be at 6 no sweat but I can't count what I don't have yet.

Pretty awesome stuff you resell. I bet you make a killing. Do you make good profit from trading cards?

I do alright. Almost every good card from the first edition Jungle and Fossil Pokemon sets is 4x in the last year. Some are 8x or 10x, and that's if you bought them on eBay. Still people with mint but ungraded childhood collections who just want to cash out (and don't care if they're leaving a ton of money on the table). I'm actually putting together a deal with one of those people right now, so probably will make a killing if I can pull it off.

Trying to get into reselling with just trying to get new releases on just luck is just impossible. Nothing wrong with going after new releases because eventually you’ll luck out but you’ll never have any consistent inventory. Starting used and flipping those for small profits, while trying your luck at new releases is pretty much the best way for a noob to get started.

I’m full autism in this and a cheater to the highest degree. It’s the only way to make it as a reseller if you want big money.

Good luck on the card deal. I still have a ton of my old Pokémon cards. 5 Charizards and a few first editions I might need to cash a few out. Best of luck with your deals! Always respect a fellow reseller regardless of what they’re flipping.

I spend almost nothing on clothes. Every time I get "new" items for the closet, they're from a garage sale or vintage shop or marshalls.

Still make sure the material is quality and judge how many situations I could actually wear the thing in before I buy. I have at-home-all-day clothes, manual labor clothes, and nicer clothes for work/interviews.

With that. I basically spend $40, at most, a year on clothes.
