21966405 No.21966405 [Reply] [Original]

Alright I need the honest scoop on this exchange and their exchange coin, XCM. "$10 EOY" shills and the "count on 4 hands hurrdurr" autist (bot?) will be ignored. Please use some resemblance of facts/logic to back your opinion. Here's my analysis:

>been around for a long while but has a pitiful number of users/total exchange volume. Volume has really only gone up recently due to the success of PRQ and who knows how long that will last
>good UX on desktop, but mobile app is complete dog turd
>can cash out in EUR, USD "coming soon" supposedly
>decent number of pairings available
>KYC took like 5 minutes
>offers margin trading, can also invest in some sort of real estate bonds or some shit I don't really understand or care about
>CEO (Kevin) seems pretty knowledgeable and in touch with the user base. does a weekly AMA on youtube, replies directly to people in the Telegram, etc.
>Pitiful number of Youtube views/subscribers, same with their Twitter. Plebbit is completely dead
>Pretty much no reason to use this exchange at the moment unless you feel an undying need to buy a stake in some shitty condos near a ski resort in Japan.

Overall analysis: probably 95% chance forever a shitcoin, 2.5% chance Kevin and the rest of the Estonian PRQ/XCM team are running a high-level scam on everyone, 2.5% chance of becoming the next binance/BNB if the devs somehow get their heads out of their asses and work about 5x faster than they currently are.

>> No.21966568

Watch the last AMA Kevin did
-USD Fiat in September
-New smartphone app in September
-Big Marketing Campaign also starting in September

PRQ already brought in a lot of new users, thats why XCM also went up with it. Look, they obviously have big things planned for september. So obviously if you get in now, if the september campaign is succesfull, you're gonna take big profits. The only question is, if you believe in them enough to pull it off. I do

I think you're more or less dead-on. The token has been around for years and that's either causing confusion for people who saw this years ago and believe that it's nothing, or a solid source of FUD.

The company seems to be making a lot more progress lately and is in a very good position as far as exchanges go for the near future. I'm not expecting much out of XCM but the company is definitely putting in the effort lately and started to make moves. I can't tell if the bot-poster is FUD or genuinely confused. Or maybe he's just right. Time will tell.

I will try to give you my honest opinion regarding the future of this exchange, based on its tokenomics and the very small increase in daily volume we've been observing in the past month. Despite a lack of real marketing besides word of mouth and arbitrage opportunities thanks to PRQ and XCM at some point, we can assume that a few greedy people went through the atrocious KYC registration in order to make money thanks to the platform.

That's good. The UI on PC looks intuitive for zoomers and boomers both, which is a great sign too. USD trading pairs coming soon, customer support being actual white people speaking English, Murcko actively making this work, tokenized bonds soon to be traded, investors coming during september - all good.

The main issue are the low fees which are supposed to attract users, and how the exchange should continue operating. The XCM token is supposed to rise in value thanks to every action on the exchange market buying a very small amount of XCM, which is where the fees are redirected. This is nice, but here's the catch : the low fees that are good to attract potential users to use this as a fiat-crypto or even crypto-crypto platform won't stay this low for long, especially as XCM moons. So, you can reasonably assume that wasn't sustainable, to begin with. I can count the entire user base of coinmetro with 4 hands worth of fingers. Daily volume is astonishingly low, and the tokenomics are flawed : it's just a smokescreen to hide that it's actually a ponzi/money laundering scheme. XCM cannot be valued above 10 cents. XCM holders are now tasked to try their best to recruit as many people as possible into the exchange to keep the money and the rewards flowing in, otherwise the house of cards inevitably falls upon itself without warning as soon as the tokens bought by Kevin Murcko/the exchange ALL GET SOLD AT ONCE to break even. Let me repeat myself here : the XCM token CANNOT be valued more than 10 cents per token, if not less.

>>been around for a long while but has a pitiful number of users/total exchange volume. Volume has really only gone up recently due to the success of PRQ and who knows how long that will last
it's going up from the beginning. painfully slow but raising. prq and xcm uniswap gave a significant push. but the overall trend is clear: raising.
>>good UX on desktop, but mobile app is complete dog turd
right UX is great. everybody knows that the mobile app sucks and a new one is coming. mobile browser version works like a charm. other exchanges suck at this point.
>>can cash out in EUR, USD "coming soon" supposedly
of course it comes, like everything else that came over time.
>>decent number of pairings available
correct
>>KYC took like 5 minutes
which is great. and you could add the 24/7 live support which is the best in the industry right now.
>>offers margin trading, can also invest in some sort of real estate bonds or some shit I don't really understand or care about
understandable that you can't grasp this
>>CEO (Kevin) seems pretty knowledgeable and in touch with the user base. does a weekly AMA on youtube, replies directly to people in the Telegram, etc.
no other CEO has such a 24/7 presence like him. would pay to watch him destroy scam project CEOs in live meet ups.
>>Pitiful number of Youtube views/subscribers, same with their Twitter. Plebbit is completely dead
who fucking cares?
>>Pretty much no reason to use this exchange at the moment unless you feel an undying need to buy a stake in some shitty condos near a ski resort in Japan.
bonds give you a much better return than fiat on bank accounts, less risk than copy trading, and more stable than shitcoin holdings. no need to buy it if you don't want though. but I know, you don't really understand or care about that shit.

pretty much a shit conclusion especially after you pointed out so many actual good sides of the exchange.

I expect XCM to be around 1€ End of 2021
Around 5€ possible 2023-2025, depending how big their volume gets.

We're currently at 500k volume, it's not causing to cause any buypresse on the book.

It get's interesting when we hit self sufficiency in 6 months, as calculated by the team (marketing budget divided by calculated marketing efficiency per $ in test marketing)

This is around 5 milliion dollars.

Why should XCM increase in price?

XCM is used for every transaction on Coinmetro.com
Details: https://coinmetro.com/blog/xcm-ecosystem-full-token-utility/

For a trade of 1000€, 0.1%, therefore 1€ is marketbought in XCM and given to the exchange.
50% of those 1€ worth of XCM are burnt, 50% are kept as a fee for Coinmetro.

Example: With a daily trading volume of 5 million € daily
5 million daily means 5000€ of buys Daily
So per year, 1.825.000€ (5000*365) of xcm are bought.

This will bring the price to price range between 50- 150 cents after half a year.

So XCM is a long term investment for at least a year.
