i got rugged. i don't care the eth im just trying to understand how

heres the pool - https://www.dextools.io/app/uniswap/pair-explorer/0x532bf45a09f6918174ec3f33d2dc3dc7ff656a0f

and the contract -
0x95b163A76EEce671105f9E2Ee004fE93082d4d73

liquidity was locked in the pool. no major whale in the holders. i thought at this point i could monitor the contract for a mint function and sell quickly if i saw one.

but then suddenly no one could sell their tokens to the unipool. can someone explain to a brainlet how this is possible please?

right now you can still even purchase tokens from uniswap, its just impossible to sell - you get the error "This transaction will not succeed either due to price movement or fee on transfer. Try increasing your slippage tolerance." no matter what slippage tolerance you use

Do you have website, bakrichod? Sir, don't tell me you buy coin with having looked at website. When you look at website, that's how you know is scam. Buying coin without doing the DYOR is how the chutiya moves, madarchod. Why you buy coin called "PIMP," sir? Is like bastard version of PNK. Do one thing, file a case in Kleros Court and we will help you, bhencod.

i know what im doing is super degen. i don't know much but i thought i knew enough to avoid the most popular rugs. never seen this where the pool is still available but cant be sold into

additionally if theres any other way to interacting with the pool besides the uniswap UI, would love to hear it.

i still have my pimps. pimp uni pool is still there and not drained yet. my attempts to sell tokens through uniswap results in this

increase gas?

>> No.21942525

>>21942483
when you click swap it typically then brings up the metamask popup where you confirm the transaction and can change the gas. cant even get to the point to increase the gas, no popup when i press the swap button, just this error

>> No.21942572

>>21942208
As it says, increase slippage. Gear icon top right, try 2% or higher.

>> No.21942583

is there a pool on uniswap? i can't find one for 0x95b163A76EEce671105f9E2Ee004fE93082d4d73

>> No.21942708

>>21942572
if you see in the screenshot i posted i used 45% slippage. uniswap will only allow me to go up to 49% which produces the same error message

>>21942583
there is certainly a pool. i go to the pool section of uniswap. top is eth, bottom is pimp, it tells me if i add my tokens to the pool i'll own .57% share of the pool. this is simply confirming what the dextool link is displaying - the pool is still there and not drained

i almost don't want us to moon just so i can keep seeing posts like these

>> No.21942839

ill add, it has nothing to do with the "fee on transfer" part of that error either. i have 2 eth in my wallet, certainly enough to complete a sell transaction.

really hoping some solidity wizard can explain this. ive seen a lot of rugs, but none where you simply can no longer perform uniswap sell functions(people are still buying the coin)

>> No.21942886

>>21942839
I don't think it's a rug bro. I've been trying to sell some coins since yesterday and the tx won't go through. You should be happy you didn't waste any gas. If any anon can confirm this is something insidious please do. I haven't been able to sell add snx and dev on uni

>> No.21942896

>>21942839
Have you tried using round numbers? Sometimes uniswap doesn't like decimals

>> No.21943112

>>21942886
at the same moment several people started confirming they could no longer sell, the admin kicked everyone out of the telegram. i can currently sell any of my other coins i own on uniswap with no errors

>>21942896
yea tried earlier

well the pool was finally drained( transaction here - https://etherscan.io/tx/0x303ab6bbb4a45f2728c31cd0ddec3b2a3ef869ac70704df44e56c4395c298aa2/advanced ), a full 2 hours after the sell function stopped working.

im still curious how they disabled the sell function, and where the mint function can be found as i don't see it anywhere prior to the pool being drained

The contract was never verified. I don't know enough about these things but maybe they modified or removed the contract in a way that disabled the ability to sell

Hey retard, I have some advice for you so you don’t lose money in this way again. Take it as a lesson and move on. First of all, you’re a fucking moron for buying a yield farming shit token at all, but especially without looking at its contract first. As you might notice on etherscan, pimp doesn’t even have a verified contract, so there’s no telling wtf it does. It can copy all of the functionality of a regular yield token but they could include extra code that gives them control over the entire thing. But you don’t need to be a solidity wizard to realize that they gave themselves enough tokens to swap out the entire pool of Eth. Uniswap failed because the slippage was 100%. They didn’t do anything to break uniswap. The result is that a uniswap liquidty pool is entirely full of pimp, which makes it worthless as it doesn’t have a value of Eth in there. So the next lesson is if you’re thinking of buying one of these tokens to lock into liquidity on uniswap instead of trading it, don’t fucking do that either you dumbass because all the people who had a share of the pool now have the privilege of splitting the worthless pimp tokens amongst themselves

>> No.21943564

>>21942443
Try jacking your slippage up to 5%

>> No.21943642

I just love your fucked up thought process
>buy pimp
>alright now I’ll think about check out the contract just in case
>there’s no fucking contract
>weird how suddenly now I can’t sell
>uhhh can I get a solidity wizard here figure out this hackers hacks
You fucking dumbass hahahahaha
You can stick to xrp or kleros so you have a pack of retards to do your thinking and keep your attention for you. I actually feel bad for you though, I hope you get over this shit so you don’t make this mistake again. You can win still but listen up to this: don’t get frantic with your money to try to recoup your losses. You’ll lose even more. Just try to calm down and make smart moves from here on out

>> No.21943840

>>21942208
They probably had the ability for the owner to change the burn rate. If the burn rate is 50%+ on sells, then you can’t sell on uniswap. Max slippage percent is 49%, and the burn would cause a greater than 50% slippage. The owner probably also had the ability to mint tokens to soft rug liquidity.

Heh. You stole my image. I took that exact screenshot of the pajeet kleros vid. Nice.
