people keep saying there wasn't any inflation back in 2008 bailouts and there won't be any inflation this time, but inflation equals money supply plus velocity
back in previous bouts of QE the money the fed printed never went into the real economy. but now the US gave massive amounts of stimulus to ordinary people in the form of 1200 checks and 600 dollar in unemployment, all printed money. not only that, unlike before, massive amounts of ordinary people are now trading in the stock market using apps like Robin Hood, meaning the fed money they're pumping into the market will trickle down into the real economy.
half the people I know irl have made thousands and thousands of dollars in the market.

Keep in mind I used to work at shake shack until I got furloughed in march and that job paid peanuts compared to what I make now. I've literally developed an addiction to hookers as a result. The unemployment "bonus" could lead to inflation if it continued forever. It's over. The stimulus check was nothing. Why would free money for corporations lead to inflation? They're just going to throw it in their Jewish bank account and live more comfortably than you with the interest alone. They're just going to give more bonuses to their Jewish buddies. This. Our nominal inflation is kept down because our real inflation is so high. You have to look for it - the same money buys 1/3 the property now. Candy bars cost only 40% more but they're 50g smaller. Meat gets more pink slime and you find yourself shelling out for one good cut a week instead of hamburger for several nights. What used to be a nice hotel room is now a piss poor airbnb hand-made by a grandma who's social security wouldn't pay for a cardboard box. The list goes on. Feel me?
