true, but you forget the other factors of the price including hype. mc lets you evaluate whats likely to pump by how much by looking at other coins mc and what they did in the past, plus the demographics of the current crypto space which is smaller than what it was in 2017 of course. Eventually fulls cale true use case will have a much bigger impact on price for any coin
