why do you ask? because this is going to be the scaling solution for eth. plain and simple. i bought ethereum for less than $20, have watched what igor's been doing the entire time since poa.
their solution to the reddit challenge was EXACTLY what the customer asked for, this is where the other projects fail in my opinion.

the winner of reddit (probably xdai given above) is likely goign to be the solution for almost every other website, mark my words
stake already has another scaling solution in mind, qdai if you've read about it
not only that but sidechains can just be cloned, essentially, making it more or less infinitely scalable.
AND ITS SMART CONTRACT CAPABLE.
back in the day everyone thought 'programmable bitcoin' was a meme, but not me
