Why? I personally use Fidelity, but the majority of these "ebic baste zoomie" posters I see are using that mobile game for their moves. I don't get it and I'm seriously curious.

It's easy
They can trade with $5
This is all they know

But isn't it the same exact thing with most other online brokers. Idk I'm pretty green to trading myself, but I started my Fidelity account with like 100 dollars.

Basically is it purely retardation or is there truly something to it?

Why wouldn't they? Are the stocks on other brokers better somehow?
Only real argument against RH is TDA and others have a more advanced platform for day trading (which happens to be clunky and opaque anyway), and they offer more exotic equities like pink sheets, which they typically charge a commission to trade.
People use RH because it is polished and works for 99.9% of people. The detractors (especially here) are usually wannabe daytraders and are usually dunked on by robinkiddies because they they aren't contrarian hipsters.
