Disclaimer: I (begrudgingly) own this coin. I won't try to shill it to you. You're right when you say that no one is answering reasonable questions about this coin; that's because about 95% of the people who bought this coin are obtuse. I'm sorry that people have been shilling this coin so hard. I think it's annoying, too.

At the moment, $COOM is a token just like any other. The developer's liquidity is locked; that's one of the only major selling points right now.

However, this Saturday (or so), the developers are supposed to announce some new changes. I can't speak for everyone else but, personally, I am just waiting to see how these changes might produce value. I expect that a new version of this coin that can be easily flash swapped with other coins will be released. The new logo is somewhat suggestive of what that might mean. Anyway, I don't really know what exactly to expect. The developers seem young, but they also seem to show talent. Make of that whatever you will.

My advice: if you have an extra two hundred dollars to speculate with then go ahead and buy, if you are interested. That's more or less what I did several days ago. At this stage, the success of this coin wholly depends on whether people invest or not. The $COOM cult isn't doing itself any favors with all of the shilling, though, because $COOM sounds like a scam to anyone who hasn't followed this closely.

I am also in for similar reasons. Developer transparency has been a big selling point for me as well as the passion/coomunity behind this coin at ~1 week old.

I think there's a future here between the development team, the meme potential, and the upcoming charity run in November hopefully churning some publicity. DYOR but I don't mind being in something potentially risky when the people, both developers and holders, are obviously very passionate about it beyond the memes.
