first coin was link that I bought around 7. sold with about 2000 in gains. put some of that in RSR and the rest in OMG when it was pumping.

could have sold OMG and made another 1800 easily, but i held and it slowly bled out for a week. put more of it in OMG from RSR and my own money.

i knew OMG was going to correct, but didnt expect a slow bleed out like it did.

sitting on the sidelines now and putting what more i can spend on coins where i wont touch the money like RSR and DOT

it's relative. it's a lot to me and my current situation.

There is rarely a good reason for this to happen. About the only thing that comes to mind is if you are going berserk on a position and looking to make your year by just getting bigger and bigger and bigger and then you get a gargantuan move in the unfavorable direction rather than the burst blow off in the favorable direction.

sounds like you've learned a lot of about market swings and when to take profits / pull out money and go into other projects.
for me, i have projects i love mid-long term (keep in mind that in crypto, long term might mean more than a week kek), and then i have other projects where i am ready to sell if they pump to add to my stack in the projects i truly believe in.
i think youre on the right track, just dont get emotionally attached to your bags, be ready to take profits when something pumps.
some good advice i learned is to never sell "everything" of your stack. say shitcoin A pumps, if you want to keep a moonbag, sell 50-75% of it, and if you really like the project, you can even take out just your initial and let the rest ride, etc.
have a plan/strategy when you go in, or you're not going to know what to do when situation A, B, C happen, and you dont know which is going to happen

yes my problem is that I had no plan. i didn't really know what I was going to do when I saw OMG pumping. I just hoped it would correct and then keep going up. I also went all in on my trading money i've allotted for myself so I had scared money.

i also became obsessed with thinking about prices and looking at other prices and refreshing /biz/. i want to learn more about trading, but i will return with a different mindset and not let it become an unhealthy gambling addiction

invest an amount where you feel comfortable when it goes down and feel happy when it goes up.
aside from that i think you're on the right track, you seem to be getting the hang of what you did wrong, fairly quickly

that’s what i thought when i sold 10k link at 2 dollars. it wasn’t the right thing. it’s not something to envy. fuck you and your portfolio. why don’t you sell and watch everything go 50x and miss out on hundreds of thousands of dollars then you can talk about how it’s the right move faggot.

Kek I sold my 10k linkies at .40 because the way things were going I thought we were going to have another year minimum. But guess what I'm back in and am pretty sure i will make just as much if not more with my current positions. That's the difference between me and you, I learned, I'm better. Cry more pussy.
