This. The USD is maintained as world reserve currency by the international globalist cabal. If a country doesn't want to use it they send the US military to destroy it and replace with a more favorable arrangement. Still, nothing will stop inflation. Gold and silver will always go up in the long run and there's nothing they can do to stop it

COMEX will never default. Nobody will ever take delivery on enough contracts to force breakdown of the ponzi scheme. No, but I would hold off on buying more until the price comes down a bit
Imo, you should also wait for Powell's speech on Thursday; it could be a nothing burger, or it could dramatically shift the dollar which would effect your physical purchase price
In either case, it's better to ride the wave already going than to try and speculate with $$$ what he's going to say in his speech

Worst case scenario you'll still get in before $30, best case scenario you save some $$$ because it goes down more on his reassurance

I can't find PCE inflation data for July yet, I think it comes out on August 31, but for June, the "core-meme PCE" (which I think the Fed uses for its target) was 0.2% one-month increase, so on track to be 2.4% annualized inflation.

I did find this "nowcast" from clevelend fed
https://www.clevelandfed.org/our-research/indicators-and-data/inflation-nowcasting.aspx
>0.48% increase in July
>at that rate continued over the year its nearly 6% inflation

CPI was released and its similar to June, so also indicating that inflation is rising "kinda quickly" perhaps too much for the Fed, so I expect they will dial it back a bit.

Time-keeping is a highly valuable ability especially when most other people don't have it but still need it for precise coordination in multiple places. They will be one of the most valuable digital/electrical devices in an environment where manufacturing/free trade between China and US breaks down. Either they will never be produced again (e.g. collapse scenario) or the U.S. will have to rebuild all manufacturing for them so there will be a long time to sell them at elevated prices. Still, unless you know about luxury watches this is similar to a play on PMs in that you're playing the long game. There's usually always a market for luxury watches but you have to know what you're doing.

That's kinda my fear. In 2009 everyone said it was all going to collapse and it didn't, they just band aided it.

Now they are printing much more, but, I don't really understand the implications of that. Can they just keep printing? How long until they can't anymore? I'll also note that I remember that while the 2008 crash came in the fall, things were bad way before that. So, timeline wise, we maybe haven't seen the big crash. Just food for thought. I remember the housing market getting bad in like 2006-7.

Why or why do guys buy into the "wife" notion when it's so dangerous - especially for guys who've made it.

If you want pune/boipucci pay for it those merc dimes a la cart. If you want a kid, source an egg, rent a womb, take delivery of the kid, and give it a good home. But if you want to fall into the wife trap, think long and hard if it's really worth it; especially if the deck is stacked against you and there are other alternatives.

>whats the logic behind this?

It's the three "Fs" - if it floats, flies, or fucks, you lease. Never buy.

From the /biz/ angle these are depreciating assets which lose value every year. The plane ain't going up in value, the boat isn't worth more, and your wife/boitoi is only getting older [read: less hot].

Now if we were back in the 50's before the boomers wrecked the relationship market, you'd have a young guy and girl get together in the late teens/early twenties, pair bond, create a family, and then have kids. Stable, nice, comfy. The interest of both sexes was balanced, divorce needed a cause, and society served to help buttress relationships vs tear them apart.

Fast forward to today and it's the opposite. Women are encouraged to divorce at whim and the law backs them up from a legal and economical perspective. Fun fact that before the left managed to rip apart the black family with welfare in the 60's, the black family was more stable than whites and black youth unemployment was lower than comparable whites. Basically blacks were focused on being (and succeeding!) in being decent and respectable, not niggers...Tom Sowell goes into this in White Liberals and Black Rednecks if you want to know more.

Anyways you asked "why lease" - the reason you lease (as a male with assets) is a long-term relationship puts you at a tremendous objective disadvantage due to how society treats marriage. You can do everything right and still get hosed.

So the counter to that is to fracture the sexy-time and the reproductive side of the equation (i.e. the suppliers you pay for pussy is different than the supplier you pay for an egg/uterus.)

By having the pussy rotate through via "leases" you avoid the marriage pitfall entirely and simply trade down when you're no longer...entertained.

And if you want kids you keep it strictly professional. Buy the egg(s), rent the wombs, take delivery of the child.
