Could SNX be #1 on CoinMarketCap one day? Derivatives is a quadrillion dollar industry. Or will LINK have a higher marketcap since SNX will use LINK oracles. What about ETH? Vitalik said one day a dap might have a higher marketcap than ETH.

but defi is in its real early days and just taking a look at how much total TVL there is its something like $7b across all protocols right now but it went up exponentially, quick
with more and more people getting into it, SNX and other protocols will eventually eclipse LINK at the very least since everyone can wrap their minds around why they're super useful (it's much easier to understand why a protocol with lending/borrowing/derivatives/etc is valuable than the oracle that powers their price feeds)
that's why i went from having most LINK to owning SNX, BAL, CRV, YFI, LEND, COMP and a couple smaller m. cap ones
also they're all fairly small in m. cap when it comes to link's defi dominance, so they will move as long as people speculate that defi protocols are valuable and useful in the longterm
it'll just happen much quicker than it did with link imo

yea, i mean i still have 25% of my link holdings i sold 75% when we dropped from $20 to $18, which is a decision that might be met by linkies as retarded but i think i made the right decision since i had most of my "spare" $ to invest in defi protocols' native tokens in link, and it worked out thus far for me
time will tell if i'm right about these native tokens being worth it in the long run
that being said, my YFI alone have already been well worth it i got in at ~$7k avg
