LINK has a blossoming feud with a social media rockstar, Dave Portnoy. Like 10 people on this board even give a shit about BAT. How do we change this?

Link has legitimate enthusiasm behind it. Compare them to bsv shills who come out in bursts. So shilling isn't the way, we need converts. Maybe if they understand that brave usage is growing fast and utility is growing (like paywalls) then that might help us. Also of the price can escape this shitty range once and for all then it could create some converts. But who knows

Brave has almost 1m youtube celerys and about 18m users. The foundation has already been laid. As soon as a catalyst sets this off it will turn into a hype machine on its own. All we can do is push for more users and redpill in the meantime to strengthen the foundation.

The thing is, there can't be any enthusiasm for that shit.
1. The browser is sketchy as fuck, does shit in background, datamines and borderline spyware. Update and calling home processes can't be turned off and keep doing shit in the background even if the browser is closed.
2. KYC
4. The whole use case can be replaced with a chainlink adapter for google ads.

That said, I want a good pump so I can dump my 2017 bag for ETH.

I had it installed. Open your task manager and go to services. The brave services are always on. Then go to your firewall and look at the outgoing connections. It's always trying to send shit, even when you aren't doing anything. Then install DiskMon and see it constantly rummaging in your /users/ folder.
This is the reason I uninstalled it after 1 day and scrubbed my PC, instead of earning through ads.

I want this to be true, but I still see so many problems with BAT/Brave. Pajeets not being able to cash out, losing their Brave in browser for whatever reason, have to KYC through Uphold which is disgusting, etc.

No one is comfortable with an app that does suspicious shit in the background. Unless of course he's a starving Pajeet and desperately needs the pennies for watching ads.
And in that case, as I said, you can replace the whole thing with a Chrome chainlink adapter. The whole use case is "if user X watched ad Y to the end, pay Z crypto". So basically the only thing you need is an unique user identification tied to a wallet and the website to send a trigger after an ad has been watched, that triggers the payout in the smart contract. Could code this in about 4 days if I wasn't lazy.
