I've been an OMG investor since summer 2017. The Omise team did quite a lot of hyping (possibly without knowing it) in the beginning. Posting pictures of them in front of Google, McDonalds etc, and in the 2017 mania they mooned like crazy. Their CEO Jun tweeted "soon" about staking, mainnet going live etc, even though they had barely begun developing anything.

Long story short - many people lost a lot of money. Omise team learned their lesson and have done a 360 turnaround and have a lot right since, imo. Seems like a great and competent bunch og people, with their values in the right place.

Only problem with that is that we're more than a decade away from being anywhere "stable".
