I know this feel OP. I put everything in Link last August at $2.29 and by September it had dropped as low as $1.50. I felt sick at the thought of losing all of that money and was depressed for weeks.
Don't worry though, my story has a happy ending. Yours will too if you invested in projects with good fundamentals

Something similar happened to me, i got a notification via twitter, when i open it i saw some guy shilling me a shitcoin, at first i ignore it, but then they keep tagging other people and continue shilling, the converstation went like this:
- anon1: what coin will do the next x500?
- me: $DGB
- anon2: Safex will 1000x screencap this
- anon3: yes safex is endorsed by Mcafee
- anon4: Safex will moon, mcafee is buying it

So i bought 2500$ worth of Safex at 750 sat,
Today Safex is worth 20 sat
I am down -97.33 from my initial investment.

2500$ is lot of money from where i am from, i told my wife that we will need to sell our farm and our goats to provide for our children, right now is hard to find a job, we are lucky that the church give us free bread everyday so we can eat.

One of my buddies had 30k invested in various stocks and didn't even look at his damn portfolio in fucking 3 years. He's not exactly rich, but has a good job. He's a fucking smart guy but this kinda shocked me.
Anyway, my point is despite the volatility of the market, his losses only averaged out to -5%. Some of his stocks had 3000% growth or loss. The guy telling you to get rid of blockfolio is giving solid advice.
