The question isn't "will it go up"
The question is, do the devs intended to launch what they've said they'll launch.
They've set a release date for the first auctions tomorrow. If they keep good on this promise, and the weebs are happy with the product, its not a question of will it go up.
If they can successfully create one of a kind product in a limited quantity, a waifu to call your own, and make the weebs bet against each other using waif to back the purchase, its going to go up. There's no question.
In essence the two questions you have to ask yourself:

Ok so basically it's a crypto with a side to it. There will be custom commissions by famous artists sold in bids and raffles over time and in general it's powered by the community. There's likely to be a market and all sorts of shit (I want to start a scanlation group). You basically have to get ETH into a Metamask wallet and connect Metamask to Uniswap. After that swap ETH to waif (find waif by copying and pasting the contract number from waifutoken.io and enjoy) however if you don't have huge bags rn I hear the gas prices are a little wild. i actually had a friend who does chain analysis take a look at their distribution. there are a few big early wallets, but assuming their "devs" are composed of 5 or so people, they don't own any more than 10% of the supply. as in, they collectively hold 150k worth of tokens on a $1.5m cap project. that's nothing compared to others who had an ICO and kept a HUGE premine.
