XLM is a translation service. They have "anchors" that are businesses on the chain that convert currency. One to the other.
XRP is the bridge for liquidity. When you combine the two, you have instant liquid that can be flushed to any other asset that you want. Instantly. XLM can be assigned on its network to hard assets as well. Giving them a token value on its network. In other words you can add a crypto price tag in any currency that you want and someone can pay for that with any currency that they want to.
All XRP needs to do is be regulated so institutions can use it and it become "the obvious choice" for people who want to purchase goods on the "internet of value".

Industry of the future is going to look different and be a lot smarter with this system. Have a closet full of junk? Take a picture of it and let an A.I. figure out what you have and list it online with crypto price tags. A self driving car shows up to your house, you load it in, the A.I. lens registers that it has been loaded, you get paid and it drives off.
Flare might not just eat away at some of ETHs marketshare, but might totally kill off old dot.com boom businesses like EBAY....
