I didn't. Basically, my sister, who I don't talk to and haven't for years, knows I'm doing well because she still keeps in touch with my mum, who is basically the only person from my old life I stay in touch with. Naturally, I've helped my mum out with a bit of money. I think my sister must be bitter about this and has circulated whatever info she has gotten out of my mum(who does like to talk about me)

This is why i don't even know if I can tell my mom after I make it, and if I do I need to move far far away. My mom goes to a local bar once or twice a week and she would absolutely get too tipsy and tell her friends all about it even if I asked her not to. Then her friends will tell their friends and other people in the bar will be bound to overhear it. I go to this bar a lot too and if this happens I'll walk in one day and a bunch of random motherfuckers who I didn't talk to about any of this will start asking me questions Also what my mom doesn't know is that some of the younger guys who are just arriving at the bar when she's getting ready to leave are actually drug dealers who sell my friends and I coke late at night. I'm cool with them but I don't need everyone knowing my fucking business. It gets dangerous.
