With that level of economic disruption, its more about making it to the other side without losing absolutely everything. Physical metals should be your insurance policy at about 10% of net worth, anything more, or putting junior mining stocks in the mix, thats making a gamble to get ahead in a dollar destruction scenario. I think its still healthy to have a good majority chunk of your money in income producing assets (real estate, rock solid dividend paying stocks, closely held businesses). Investing in yourself, your surroundings and your comunittee are important too. If you are fat, live in an apartment downtown no amount of silver is going to give you the head start you really need which is being in shape, in a rural area growing your own food, and storing it for whats to come. If the dollar dies surely a revolution scenario plays out from the strife and economic ruin people will go through. The Fed and the rest of the banking class will get what's coming, that's my hope anyway
