(You) now have 53 days remaining to take advantage of a daily 1% rebasing of your holdings during the 60 day Genesis Era. That is (1.01)^53 = 1.694 increase to your fucking holdings. 1000 FLOW becomes 1694 FLOW at the end of 53 days. Get the idea? Also, this shit happens automatically; There is no fucking slow ass Ethereum transaction via air drop or high gas fee paid for this shit. There is no negative rebasing like fucking AMPL. Payouts are applied every day at 22:00 UTC via the smart contract.

After the Genesis Era, daily returns drop to .5% daily for 365 days until the next Era begins. If you hold another year, your 1694 FLOW then becomes 1694 x (1.005)^365 = 10,460 FLOW by the end of next year. Daily return percentages will drop in half each year until 10 Eras are complete. (.25%, .125% and so on). From the White Paper, "FLOW does not need to be staked or locked into a contract to receive inflation, therefore it can be applied to the full range of DeFi applications while still achieving its distribution target." Imagine pooling your Flow AND still receiving your daily % surge.

Our badass dev Morpheus is working on Liquidity Mining right now, making use of AMPL's Geyser protocol. He is near ready to deploy this contract, but is working on making the UI better for us. He confirmed this feature WILL come during the Genesis Era.

Dev Tokens are verifiably locked up for 6 months.

There are no VCs that will dump on your ass like with AMPL.

Current FLOW price: $2.10
Current circulating supply: 3.75M = 3.5M x (1.01)^7
Current Total Supply: 10.72M = 10M x (1.01)^7
Current Total Liquidity: $1,213,970.50
Current Daily Volume: $1,350,543.74
Current number of wallets: 1,511

>When that daily 1% hits your account

>> No.21694353

"Btc is very much inflationary. Proof of Work and the concept of "mining" have introduced problems that didn't exist. It's probably the one thing Satoshi didn't fully think through. It's also why he can't be Japanese, because any Japanese man would know that Chinese people will inevitably fuck everything up. A key fundamental step in Japanese problem-solving is accounting for the Chinese Menace, and boy have they fucked up btc. Mining crypto introduces inflation. You are not mining BTC, and you never will be. Ever. If you were you'd be operating at a heavy loss. Almost all of the inflation of BTC goes to CCP run mining operations. If you hold 1 BTC forever, the value will indeed go up due to it's scarcity, but you'll only ever receive more by buying more. The CCPs bag claims the inflation, diluting your value over time. Flow's inflation mechanism is meant to address this directly. The inflation is applied automatically to holder's wallets at a rate set by the Era. You can read the white paper to find out more, it's very straightforward which is apparently reason to FUD but I don't give a shit about that. In short, if you own 50% of the flow today you will own 50% of the flow in 30 years. In effect, everyone is a miner. The current distribution of wallets is refreshing. You can see it here: https://etherscan.io/token/0xc6e64729931f60d2c8bc70a27d66d9e0c28d1bf9#balances There are some large wallets in the top 20 but you'll find that it drops quickly. This, along with the fact that there is no Dev, VC, Silicon Valley Dipshit, or Ivy League hack holding 65% of the supply hostage is why people call this "rug proof". The dev has done everything the community has asked of him. This project could have been DoA if they used the institutional model that 99% of projects have been built around recently. This one has a pure vision for store of value that's fair for all holders."

Non-dilutive inflation does absolutely fuck-all. You still have the same value before the rebase as after the rebase, you just have more tokens that are worth less. Why not just make the supply bigger in the first place so you can buy twice as many tokens and you don't have to go through all the trouble of rebases

I'll tell you what though, I'll trade you 100k RSR for 1 BTC. You would be getting the better deal since you would be getting 100k of something, and I would only be getting 1

>> No.21697921

>>21697574
I think the idea is that the value is increased through the demand for a larger return from the rebase. So people buy the token to hold and get a larger amount, buying the token drives the price up. People without a stack to grow scoop up the tokens sold. I’m not saying this will really work though after the 50 day period when the rebase is reduced. That’s when the ponzi structure will probably collapse.

I was early as early could be for this and could have bought 7000 for an Eth. I thought it was shit and didn’t as the lead dev was some guy larping as Morpheus on the telegram. It’s too painful to look at the price - how much did I miss out on.

>> No.21698177

>>21697921
If everyone gets the inflation, then no one benefits. AMPL does the same thing, but that is only half the equation. Flow only does the rebase part, but it doesn't have the benefit of having a target price. It is the rebase + the target price that makes AMPL what it is

>> No.21698325

>>21698030

That's the idea. It fairly distributes inflation unlike Bitcoin that provides new tokens only to miners. FLOW runs on ETH which is already secured so no need to distribute new tokens unequally.

Any coin with a fixed supply already does that though

>> No.21698534

I think >>21698474 Anons problem is more what’s the point of a different inflation mechanic when the actual value of the coin is not driven by anything. If it crabs for days on end at $1.80 having a slow trickle inflation doesn’t really matter.

>> No.21698638

>>21698474
except this is one of the few without a presale/ico, not to mention that the dev has locked funds, and it’s to slowly bootstrap the network. once the genesis era ends sell pressure will become even less from the small rebases and farming will be available. it’s like yam and ampl, except not retarded, should be a yummy combo for this defi bullrun.

>> No.21698781

>>21698638
I'm not questioning the tokenomics, I just think that a fixed daily inflation is pointless and just a gimmick to trick people into thinking they are making 1% profit every day, when they aren't. At the end of the day, it is no different than a generic erc20 token

>> No.21698841

>>21698534
That is a fair point, especially when onramps to it are as yet nonexistent outside of a liquidity pool like Uniswap and it cannot be directly used to purchase anything.
