What happens if you buy Tesla after Aug 21st?
The stock split only applies if you held shares on Aug 21st or earlier. but the split is actually happening on the 31st.
So what happens to anyone who buys in during this time period?

in that case, if I bought shares on Aug 22nd, will I still get my split? will it just take a bit longer than on the 31st?
I'm hoping the price dips until the 31st, so if I could still get the split there could be a good entry.
