if i put $500 in to the DAI- ETH pool on uniswap it gives me around 3.2% return per month.

now if that is compounded monthly for 30 years that gives me $41,000,000 in 30 years. adjust for inflation is roughly $20,000,000 in todays value in the year 2050.

thats my retirement sorted then.

That's not how it works

You're getting $15 back per year, which is just above "normal" inflation

Try again no beard

no. i have put $495 in to the pool 25 days ago and my profits are $15 thats $16 per month which is 3.2% a month not a year

Read up on impermanent loss. You will get fucked long term vs just holding the DAI and ETH. Bancor v2 solves this.

im aware of impermanent loss. if eth moons i get less eth. im not interested in that. i have other eth. what im interested in is the trading fees ie. my compensation from liquidity providings.

What was the price of ETH 25 days ago? Can ETH continue climbing for 30 years at the same rate? Calculate the price you would need ETH to be for you to have 41M in one year then realize how stupid you are.

>> No.21644392

>>21644285
doesnt matter. i make money whether eth climbs or eth falls. as long as the trading volume on Eth/dai is decent i make money.

it doesn't, it's vulnerable to frontrunning
the best practical solution is probably mooniswap
